Alone sat a man, the king of the underworld, crying for he had just lost the one thing he cared about.
"Hades" a quiet man approached the sorrowful king "it's a girl"
The King looked up at the man with sorrow filled eyes, tears filling the brim.
"Take me to her" He said standing
That was the day Hades hardened his heart even more, thinking he would never love again, but love is a funny thing twisting its way into your heart like a vine never letting go, a beautiful vine, like a Rose.
That day a girl was born, Hades and Persephone daughter and as He looked at her, a single name came to mind. She would be a rose among thorns, the thorns of the underworld, her name would be Rose. She would grow up to be a beautiful woman, with magic, some of the strongest magic there is.
Many would strive to kill her or to take her power, out of fear or jealousy. And only one could help her overcome her fears and learn herself. That someone is yet to be known, but let me tell you it's never who you think it is. Life is full of tricks and this world has its fair share.
But to be known as The Devil's Daughter can strike fear into the hearts of many a men. The girl will grow to be a thorn like her father before her, and his people, or she will be a true leader, A Rose among Thorns
