"So I actually have to go to the hospital?" I asked sitting in the Cortex at Star Labs.
"It would be better for everyone," Caitlin replied.
Cisco nodded in the background as Barry prepped a small bag for me for my stay.
"And don't worry Ophelia, we'll visit you often," Cisco told me giving me a small pat on the head.
"I'm staying with you until they tell me I have to go, alright?" Barry piped up when I started to get anxious.
I nodded then followed him outside to a car where I hugged Cisco and Caitlin before getting in.

When we arrived at the hospital Barry checked me in and got me set up in my room.
"I can feel you shaking from here," he said and grabbed my hand. "I'm right here and you're only getting a surgery on your wrist, so you'll be better in no time."
I smiled at him, "You're sweet. You really don't remember me do you?"
"What?"
"Nothing," I muttered as the nurse came in.
"Okay Miss Fraser, I'm here to escort you to the surgery room and put you under anesthesia," she said having me sit in a wheelchair. Barry was with me and held my hand as they put the mask on me and told me to count backwards from ten. His was the last face I saw before I fell unconscious.

When I woke up I was alone. Like completely.
"Barry?" I called out, well it came out more like 'bawwee'.
I started to panic and sit up when there was a small knock at the door. I looked over to see Barry with flowers.
"Barry!" Suddenly I burst into tears. He set the flowers down next to my bed on the table.
"Hey, hey don't cry. I was only gone for a minute."
"You said you wouldn't leave me," I sobbed.
"I swear I was only gone for a second! Promise," he said holding my right hand.
I sniffled, "Will you lay with me?"
He looked around, "I don't thin-" I wailed even louder than before and tried to get out of bed.
"Wait, wait, wait! I'll sit with you okay? Just. Lay down," he said gently pushing my shoulders down. I settled a little, but reached out with my arm that wasn't in a cast flapping my fingers in a 'gimme' motion. He sat down on the edge of the bed so I sat up and wrapped my arm around his neck.
"You're pretty grabby for someone who just woke up," he said laughing from where I had squished his face to my neck.
I let him go but only far enough that his forehead was pressed to my temple with my hand on his cheek.
"Are you always this tou- you're still all doped up and high, aren't you?" He asked blowing a puff of breath against my face.
"Maybe...." I whispered giggling. I turned my head so my face was pushed into his hair, "Hey, you smell so good! You know I sorta noticed that you have really nice teeth.... And I particularly like your hands, they're quite large and rather bony."
"Thanks, Ophelia. Scoot over a little bit so I can actually lay down," he whispered back while nudging me softly. I smiled at him and slid to the other side so he had room. He laid flat after he took his shoes and jacket off. I turned so I was on my good arm, facing him.
I puffed my lips out and sad through my puckered lips, "Kiss. Gimme sugar."
He chuckled and kissed the bridge of my nose. As he went to pull away I held him by the cheeks in place.
"Fwee, vat urh yew dewin?" He asked through his squished face. I sighed with a smile and gave him a quick smooch on the lips before I snuggled into his sweatered chest.
"What was that?" He asked.
"Barry, I'm sleepy, shh," I mumbled as I drifted off against him.
He curled around me slightly with an arm over my left shoulder, hand cradling the side of my head with the thumb stroking my cheek. He kissed my forehead and closed his eyes and went to sleep next to me.
