-Some Time Later-

"Ophelia, you have some explaining to do." My boyfriend's voice startled me while I made dinner.

"Stop doing that! My heart can't take it!" I screamed. I jolted, dropping the knife from my hand. He jumped at the sudden clatter.

"Jeez sweetheart, relax." He grabbed my hand, grinning.

"What do you want, Gar? I'm kinda busy here," I sighed, gesturing to my cutting board.

His face turned serious again, "What is this?" He slapped the papers in his hand down onto the counter next to me. The photo in the corner was myself with Iris West, a woman who was about four years older than me. I lingered on the picture before gasping at the heading: "Red Streak Saves Train Passengers". I tried to play it off, but he heard the soft sound.

"Why didn't you tell me!? You were on that train! AND you told me you got that cut on your forehead from hitting your head on a shelf! You lied to me, Ophelia!" He shouted at me.

"It wasn't anything worth worrying over! Plus I got to see the Streak! Do you know how cool that is for me! Gar, I'm fine," I said softly.

"That's not the point, Ophelia! You lied to me!" He continued to yelled at me. He grabbed my wrist tightly with one hand and my shoulder with the other.

"Gar, you're hurting me! Let go!" I squealed trying to get out of his grasp. He was starting to shake me and hold onto me even tighter. His grip was just too strong, I couldn't pull away, "Garfield, let go of me!"

His eyes seemed to snap back into focus, "Oh god, Ophelia, I'm so sorry!" Instantly, he let go of me and backed away.

I turned away from him again and jerked away when he tried to touch me, "Garfield, get out of my house. Now."

"Phee-" he started, reaching a hand out toward my face. I winced and stepped away from him.

"GET OUT!" I screeched making him turn and dash out of my house completely.

I sagged against the counter still shaking. I went to my room and laid on my bed, sobbing hopelessly. I was in pain, I couldn't move my wrist without excruciating pain and I could feel the bruises forming over my shoulder/ upper arm area. I didn't bother to change, just slipping into a fitful sleep where I had flopped down.
