"Okay sweetheart, tell us your name please," one of the men from earlier, the blonde requested.
I nodded, "Ophelia Fraser."
He scribbled it down, "Okay, I'm Eddie Thawne. Now, your boyfriend's name?"
I let out a small puff of air, "Garfield Marshall."
The detective wrote that down too, "Age?"
"Twenty-three," I replied.
He gaped at me, "You're twenty-three?"
I blinked at him, "Oh sorry, no, Garfield is. I'm nineteen."
He asked me several more questions and wrote all my answers on a sheet before having me wait by the door. The final man I had met came and found me, "Hi, Miss Fraser, I have to take pictures of all of your injuries for the file. So if you'll follow me, this way." He pointed to stairs behind him. I gave a short nod before following him.
"I hate to do this because I know you're already uncomfortable, but please remove your shirt and pants," he asked when he stood me in front of a white wall. I sighed but did as he asked. He took photographs of my various injuries. Then he got a funny look on his face before having me get dressed again.
"Please sit down there," he said gesturing to a stool. He sat in front of me, frankly he towered, examining the area between my jaw and collar bones. He called the older man, Joe, upstairs.
"Look there. These bruises are not from hands, they're not finger prints," he explained pointing to the dark splotches.
"Ophelia, can you tell us how you got those?" Joe asked.
"They're hickies."
The two men looked at each other.
"Barry, go get this girl something to eat," Joe told the other never taking his eyes off of my face. "Want to tell me why you haven't moved your left wrist this whole time?"
I hung my head, "I'd rather not, sir."
He sighed, "Barry should be back soon, I'm going to have him take you to the hospital."
I jumped slightly, "No! I just want to go home..."
He sighed, "I'm sorry, you can't do that- ah Barr! What have you brought us?"
The other man was just standing in the doorway, "I brought donuts. Should I come back?"
I looked at the box in his hand then at his face, "No, it's okay. I'll take a donut." He sat down next to me and held the open box out to me. I took a glazed one with a smile.
"Barry, please take Miss Fraser to Star Labs to have Caitlin and Cisco fix her wrist," Detective West told him as I chowed down.
Mr. Allen, Barry, drove me up to huge building where we got out.
"So... I feel like I should properly introduce myself," I muttered as we walked.
He chuckled, "Nah, no need."
I smiled, "Well anyway, I'm Ophelia Fraser, I'm nineteen. I was at your high school graduation."
"You have a bit of chocolate there- wait what?"
I snorted, "Yeah dude, I was even photos with you and Iris." I pulled my phone out and showed him a freshman me, braces and all, with him and Iris at their graduation. He took my phone, zooming in on our faces.
"That was you? You were such a cute freshie!" He said laughing. I felt my face flush.
"Stop, gosh, I was such a walnut," I said laughing and giving him a gentle shove.
He nudged my shoulder making me wince, "Shoot, I'm sorry. Right, these doors up ahead." He took me to an elevator and up some floors, finally stopping. He lead me into a large room with other rooms branching off.
"Hey guys, this is Ophelia, she needs your medical expertise, Caitlin."
A pretty brunette turned to me with a smile, "What a pretty name! How can I help you?"
"Broken wrist," I told her with a shrug.
She gave me a sympathetic look and examined it, "How long ago did this happen?"
I looked away with a shrug.
"That's a lie," another guy said walking into the room.
I looked up with a glare, "And how would you know!?"
"You don't seem to be in any pain and the bones are in a strange, pinched shape," he told us as he tilted my arm this way and that.
I sighed, "A few weeks ago.... My boyfriend, Garfield, snapped it." Everyone in the room went dead silent.
"That doesn't look too good, I think it's a set," Barry muttered to Caitlin. She looked horrified.
"If I walk you through it, can you just set and cast it?" She asked looking really squeamish.
"Set?" I inquired looking around.
Cisco looked really hesitant, balling his fists at his sides, "Rebreak and put in the correct position."
I squeaked, "No!" Everyone nodded before Barry noticed something on my shirt.
"Uhm, Cisco can you go get Ophelia a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt?" He asked still staring. Cisco left the room and came back a few minutes later before handing me the clothes.
"Ooh, they're warm!" I said happily holding the shirt to my face.
Barry laughed, "That's so cute!"
I felt my face flush, "Sorry, total dork moment."
Barry's phone started buzzing so he had to leave. I sighed after he left prompting Cisco and Caitlin to give me pointed looks.
"What? I'm just not going to get my wrist set, okay?"
They both raised their eyebrows and turned away.
"I need to change, do you have a bathroom or something?" I asked.
"Oh, you can change in there," Cisco told me, pointing to a room off to the left.
"Thanks."
I dashed off to get changed leaving the two behind.
