So I would like to try this out and see how we do, feel free to leave comments and please vote!Remember there is very strong language in this book!Note From 12/12/2018: Blood of the Hunter was the second book that I started in my writing carrier. I never thought about how much time and effort it was to make this creation. It means a lot to mean to share this process with you all and work to improve my writing. This is something that I love to do in my free time, and it is a great way for me to work and grow as a writer. This year has also changed my whole perception of what I wanted, I thought back to what my purpose was in writing. I thought about how I had one person, in particular, looking at my book and telling me that they enjoyed it. Long story short I had a life awakening and now I want to let more people enjoy this book and enjoy writing again. Make sure that you leave comments, give me suggestions on what worked what didn't and what you want. Also, don't forget to vote!!!!--Side note I added an edit to this chapter and a song Let me know if that's something that you are into. Thought it was cool Let me know. -- :)

Six Years - Chapter 1
Farryn POV
"Go ahead, do it!" I spat; my head snapped back as my nose broke. The second hit was delivered to my bloodied body my breath lost in the wind.
"Oh Birdie, I will do as I please with you." I lurched forward smashing my head against Vex.
"You little bitch." Vex reached for his own nose before staggering back.
Left foot forward. Heel turned to the outside. His fighting stance. I took to making my own defenses, balling my fists tightly. By now the guards had left their posts or lay dead in the halls. "Your lackeys have left you. Loyal as..." Vex hissed, his eyes turning dangerously red. I had to get out, no more than 50 feet behind Vex was an exit. A window leading down two stories. I charged throwing a punch to his left side, a bullet wound there would increase my damage. My back smashed against the wall the wind whipping around me in a whirlwind. My back arching as I fought to keep the long cuts of talons off the abrasive surface.
"Fucking vamps," I muttered. Vex's own bloodied smile appeared. He leaned in and licked my check. Picking up some of the blood that had trailed down from my head.
"So delicious, you humans sure taste delicious." I chuckled, this is sick.
"You enjoy this?" Vex tilted his head to the left, and I spat a mouthful of blood onto his face. Vex stumbled unsuspecting of my moves. I peeled myself from the wall throwing a series of combinations. Left hook, right jab. Uppercut, right hook, left jab. LEft, right, left, right, up, left. The next second I was on the ground again chocking from a jab to the throat. I swayed my head back and forth trying to catch air. Vex held his jaw in his hand and looked down on me in fury
My head snapped back yelping at the pain in my scalp I started reaching for my attacker. My broken nails made daggers to scratch and claw that arms that pulled me. We were close to the window, I just had to get out through it. I threw my weight against him and we crashed through the empty frame. We began tumbling down the side of the building, turning and twisting for dominance. Vex hit the ground first, but his hand holding my waist snapped a rib. It took us a few seconds to come to, stumbling from our injuries. Quickly Vex had me on my knees his hand wrapped around my throat. I felt the blood vessels in my face constrict. My right eye was swollen nearly shut and the thumping in my head only grew louder as I wheezed and gasped for air. I gasped as he tightened his hold again; yelling curses that twisted into guttural barks. Vex let go of my throat and I took in staggering breaths coughing thin sprays of blood on the ground.
"Get up you son of a bitch!" he sent a kick to my gut pushing me back. I laughed and stood up pulling a thin dagger from my pocket. In one shot, the dagger lodged itself into Vex's neck causing his body to seize. He collapsed onto the ground and I sprinted through the industrial park.
There was a small wooded area a few yards away. I ran slicing my arms on rouge branches that tried to block my path. Vex never stayed down for long by morning he would be healed and after me once more. I ran until I could smell the bread from the bakery in the town square. From there it was a ten-minute walk to my house. I entered through the backdoor away from the kitchen and dining areas. Sneaking into my room I nearly cried out at the bliss from my bed.
"Farryn, where have you been?" My mother cried from downstairs.
"Shit," I muttered. She must have heard the door.
"Hold on Mom. I'm um... changing." I scrambled through my room trying to find something to clean the blood from my body, or at least cover it up for now.
"Shit" the clothes on my floor were making it increasingly difficult to find something to wear. I opened another drawer and grabbed some makeup.
"Mom, can I grab a shower before dinner?"
"Of course, come down when you are done." I jumped into the water and scrubbed my body. The water was rushing across my body picking up dried blood and bringing it down the drain. Stepping out I wrapped my black towel around my body and looked into the mirror. This wasn't the girl that I used to be.
I used to play soccer, I was president of the Eco Leaders club and I spent my weekends cleaning parks. I wanted to change the world, I wanted to be remembered for amazing contributions to the world. But now I know the world will never change, never be changed, even though it can. This is what my life has become, running from Vex, running from my fears. Being alone.
This is my life now, and I must face al the evils of it alone.
I changed into the sweatshirt and some black yoga pants, they fit and they covered me. I applied makeup along my jaw, eyes, and throat; I had to cover the healing bruises. When I left the bathroom you could barely tell I had just come from a fight with a vampire. I hit 3 on my speed dial and it only took two rings before a voice picked up on the other end.
"He found me."
"Do you need the kit?"
"No."
"An extraction."
"No."
"Then why'd you call?"
"Send the message. I need you to get me out of here."
"Okay..." The line went silent for a few moments and I heard the clank of keys on a computer.
"Done. You are officially kicked out of Casteon Prep."
"Thank you."
"Goodbye... and Farr..."
"Yes?"
"Don't get yourself killed please." My lips drew up into a smile, she may have tried to hide it but she did care, somewhere deep down.
"I'll do my best." The line cut off and I threw the phone down.
"Shit!" I heard my mother exclaim, looks like she got the message.
"I know we talked about it not being until the summer... but I think that we need to put it into action now... yes again... I know... thank you... I'll be over tomorrow." What the hell was this all about? My mother never spoke over the phone, much less in a hushed tone like now. I waltzed into the kitchen like I hadn't heard the conversation.
"Mom," was all I said as I lifted an apple from the table. Fuji apples, my favorite.
"Hold it right there young lady." She said with her hand on her hip.
"What?" I groaned at the look on her face, this was not ending well for me.
"FeFe!" My brother screamed running full speed down the stairs and into me. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me right now!
"I missed you," He said his voice high and squeaky.
"I missed you too? Jacob, I was only gone for half the day." I smiled setting him on his feet and I looked into his eyes. He wasn't the same little brother that I knew, his eyes were sadder now. He turned and looked at my mom before she pointed upstairs and he stormed out of the kitchen. He tried to slam the door but failed miserably.
"What am I going to do with you two?" She barely choked out.
"If my Daniel was only here, this wo..." She started and I felt my anger bubble deep within me. That folks is when I lost my shiz in a matter of seconds.
"Oh shut up!" I yelled. "You have no right to bring him into this! You cannot say things would be different if he were here!"
"How dare you say I have no right to bring my husband into this?" She fired back.
"He was my husband!"
"He was my dad!" I retorted just as loud. She grunted in frustration.
"I suppose you feel the same about Jackson then don't you?" I gasped. No. Not him.
"Fuck you," I said before storming out.
"Farryn get back here! We do not use that language in this house!" I shot my left hand up flipping her off and sprinting up the stairs and grabbing my knives. I heard her on the phone again when I ran out through the front door. She called my name as I let the door swing closed behind me. The forest was calm tonight, it was almost like it knew that I needed the silence, that my head was buzzing too much. The crickets had stopped the second I took a knife from my pocket. The tree in front of me had three targets lined up vertically. I thew each knife with blinding speed not waiting to register whether or not they hit their mark. Now panting I stopped to see each of my knives buried into the three bullseyes, two splitting the space of each.
My favorite thing about being out here was the ability to lose track of all time. The sun had gone from high in the sky to kissing the ground since I was out here, and it was lowering further by the second. My nose hurt, tears were coming and out here I didn't have to be strong. Out here I could feel the pain, the sadness, and anger that I couldn't let anyone see back home, or with Vex, or at school. I fell to my knees screaming, my weight sinking into the mud. I gripped the ground as my body began to shake, pain filling me as I remembered.
