Xavier POV:

"That wasn't very nice." Faryn turned to me wiping the blood off her mouth.

'We have been at this for hours, mate's hurt. Can we call it now?' Thaddeus has been bursting at the seams trying to break through enough to get his opinion in.

"Tell me about Vex," I didn't want to hurt her, she was my mate, every hit to her felt like a hit to myself. This was causing me pain but I made a promise.

"Go fuck yourself, bitch." I was done with this, she wants to mess around, I wanted to protect my pack. I was the Alpha and I was going to get what I wanted.

"Fuck you Farryn, you don't care about anyone but yourself." She flinched. Got her.

"You never think, you are selfish and reckless. You never care about that safety of other people." Another flinch.

"You think only for yourself. Do you know how many wolves we have lost since you came." Silence.
"Those were good men, fathers, sons, brothers, mothers, daughters. They are all dead because of YOU!" That got her, I saw the emotion sweep over her, she was ready. She was going to make a mistake with her anger.

"Fuck you!" She yelled and spat a mix of saliva and blood straight at my face.

"You are a murderer. You killed innocent people."

'That's too far.' Thaddeus barked. Her reaction wasn't what I was expecting, I was ready for her to blow up, to make a mistake. I needed it.

"Is the little puppy upset that some of his bitches got hurt?" She wasn't my mate anymore. Something had switched in her and all of us had to take a step back. I left. I was done with this shit for right now.

"Dominic, knock her out and put her in the containment cells and meet me back upstairs. Max, you come with me."

------

"Xavier, that wasn't Farryn,"

"I know Max. I don't know what the hell that was." I was pacing through the floor in my office waiting for Dominic to come back up. I had no clue what to do at this point.

"Okay, what the hell just happened down there Xav. Who was she?"

"I have no idea. Honestly, that scares me. How is she so resilient?"

"Xav, you don't get like that on one or two interrogations. She's been through this before. Too many times to count I bet. She has learned this, she's HAD to learn this."

"How the hell are we supposed to knock her out for this? We need answers." Max looked as exhausted as I felt, we spent hours down there. If she were any other prisoner, she would have been either near dead or dead by now.

"I don't have any idea what to do?" At this point, I was contemplating some of the worst things that I could do and was checking them off as I went. She was my mate, I couldn't hurt her more than I had already.

"Boys, I... What the hell happened to you? That better not be your blood all over you boys." My father had walked in, in all his glory as just shifted.

"Father, could you at least put some pants on before you come in here."

"No can do Xavier. Anyway, that's not your blood, is it? Your mother will kill me if it is."

"It's not, we were in an interrogation, sir," Dominic spoke up.

"Doesn't seem like you got what you wanted based on your faces."

"No father we didn't. We can't get them to break."

"It's like they've been trained in how to be tortured," Max spoke up.

"Well shit. Werewolf?"

"At least partly, maybe."

"Did you try putting a collar on him?"

"No, we didn't think about that. Xav, maybe that would...."
"We will not be doing that. Thank you, father, for putting that idea in their heads. Whatever you needed I'll come over later and we can discuss it."

"Fine, I guess, hope you guys figure it out." He walked out the door and quickly shifted back into his wolf before taking off.

"Xav, I know you don't like it but it's better than nearly beating the shit out of her."
"Dominic, you know what that collar did to my mother, how the hell and I supposed to put that on my own mate?"

"Xavier I hate to break it to you but it's her or the pack at this point. She doesn't answer, she flips a switch we can't get anything from her. This is better than damn near killing her."
"I don't want to do this. I can't do this." My head fell in my hands, I didn't know what to do.

"Xav, she'll forgive you. You have to make this decision. Now."

"I know Damn it! I know!" We sat in silence for a while

"Do you both think this is not only what's best for the pack but your future Luna?" They both nodded, it was out of my hands.

"Okay. We'll collar her. But if it really hurts her, if she starts getting sick, we take it off."

"Of course. Xav, we wouldn't let anything happen to her, she's our Luna too." This was going to be the worst decision that I ever made. I already was regretting my decisions, but I didn't know what else to do.
