Chapter Four
I thought that falling on the floor was bad. . Turns out, falling into some random dude's arms is worse. All the while, crying your eyes out. .
I can't believe I've done up to four humiliating things in front of the same guy!! In ONE day!!
The same CUTE guy. .
Karen!! ugh. . . FOCUS!!!!
Why does he have to be so stinkin' hot?!!!?!!? Why couldn't he be an ugly troll so I could reject his kindness easily???
Yes, by the way, I did say "Reject his kindness".
Seriously though, why would someone do something so mean and cruel, and then just walk up to you FIVE seconds later and say sorry?? Like he expects me to believe all that hog wash!!
(And yes, I just said "Hog wash". Is it a crime to speak freely now? ...… Yeah, it's not.)
So since we were officially and awkwardly introduced, I had no idea what to do. I had no idea what to say, I just don't even know what to think right now.
Then it hit me.
I'm STILL hugging him!! Oh my goodness!!!
I quickly push myself from his chest, furiously wiping my eyes, and look away from his distractingly bright, green eyes.
"I uuh- I- I'm sorry bout' that. . " I always stuttered when I was embarrassed, but I usually blushed too. Hey, new record!!
Oh, wait, never mind. . There's the blush.
He gave me a small smile and put his hands on my shoulders. "Want to talk about it?"
he said, completely unaware about the shocking tingles running down my arms just from his touch.
I looked up at him and opened my mouth to speak, when the drivers voice echoed through the bus, interrupting me.
"AIR STOP!! CANSY, NEW YORK, PLANE STATION!!!"
I was so glad for a reason not to answer, I just hurriedly gathered my things and ran through the aisle down to the now opened bus door.
Before I left the bus, I heard the (Hopefully last) two words from Gunner's mouth.
"No then?"
I think he said something after that, but I wasn't listening.
I just ran as fast as I could to the double doors, leading to the entrance of the big building, and away from the bus stop.
Before I knew it, I was walking down the busy halls of the airport. I found my section from my ticket, 2E, but hardly anyone was there.
I looked at my plane ticket and found that I wasn't leaving for another thirty minutes, at 12:15 p.m.
I looked at my phone and it read, 11:42 p.m. So I decided to walk around for a while, because I hadn't brought anything to do.
I passed by a couple convenience stores and a couple food places, when my stomach growled.
It seems FOREVER since breakfast!! Come to think of it, I don't think I even had breakfast. . .
Another wail from my stomach.
Yep, no breakfast. .
I casually walked by an Italian restaurant and got in line. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and a medium sweet tea. I got to the other side of the counter and payed the cashier.
