*SNEAK PREVIEW OF CHAPTER THIRTEEN*

"Lord Margo. . ." I whispered.

"Ding, ding, ding! You win a prize!" he said, with a sarcastic smirk on his face.

I took a step back. "What do you want?"

"Oh that's easy," he said smoothly.

He flicked his wrist, and I flew to the wall, smashing into it.

My back took the brunt of it, but even if I was fine, I had the wind knocked out of me.

"I want you dead." he snarled evilly.

He put his fisted hand by his side, and, with the same scowl on his face, he walked closer to me.

I shakily stood to my feet. "Y-You're going to have to better than that." I said defiantly, with a determined face.

His face was emotionless, as he took his hand and grabbed me by throat, with my feet dangling above the ground.

"Is this better?" he said squeezing tighter.

I pulled and scratched at his fingers, gasping for air.

It wasn't doing any good.

His hand didn't move and inch, but pressed against my throat tighter.

"I thought you would be harder to defeat than this, Pure Blood." he said through clenched teeth. "Any last words??"

I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. I could only hear the sound of my own choking and struggling for a breath.

I could only think my answer.

Yes, I thought It would be harder too. .

I guess, it's what I get for thinking an amateur like me could beat him, Lord Margo. .

The King of all evil.

The thoughts were swirling in my head. .

I have come so close to death, so many times. But it wasn't only death that I was facing, but total annihilation. . .

I gave up.

There was nothing else to live for. . .
