"Come dance with me Trini, you're no fun. Come and have some fun with me." Miles the intoxicated moron begs, clinging onto the sleeve of my shirt trying with all his might to pull me onto the dance floor.
Yeah, might need to try a bit harder buddy.
"Miles I don't think this is the best place for dancing and how many bloody times in the last twenty minutes have I told you not to call me Trinity?! Let's just get you to a hotel, okay?" I attempt to get him to compromise, just wanting to get the hell out of this sketchy club, as everybody sat at the bar turns to see what's happening.
Nice going dip shit, just keep drawing attention to us, you're doing well so far, why stop now?
"See, this is exactly what I'm talking about! You are always too busy being mean to me and bullying me that you don't stop to have fun, come and dance with me it'll make everything better, the robot in the bathroom told me so." He further explains, resisting when I try and pull him towards the exit.
I should've left this idiot back when we finished playing pool. Why didn't I?
"Shhhhh, we can dance when we get to the hotel, deal?" I ask praying that he will stop being so difficult and just listen to me for once.
Clearly that was too much to ask for.
"No, No deal!" He shouts, crossing his arms to form a large X like they do on those stupid game shows that I'm guessing he watches. Wouldn't surprise me to be honest.
I swear the second he's sober I'm going to beat the crap out of him.
"Miles I swear, if you don't stop acting like a dickhead right now I'm going to kill you." I warn, the last shred of patience I have for him vanishing at an alarming rate. Can you really blame me though?
"LOL! You're sooooo funny Trini." He tells me in an innocent little school boy voice, reaching out and booping my nose. Did he really just say lol out loud?!
Slapping his hand away, I'm about to yell at the drunk little shit when he starts talking again.
"You're also trash, hmm maybe that's why I wanna take you out so much." He says with a thoughtful look on his face.
Ex-fucking-cuse me? Come again.
"What did you just call me boy?" I shout, ignoring the fact that he just implied he wants to go out with me. Yeah, I think I'll wait until after I've beat the prick sober to question him on that.
Taking a deep breath, trying to subside all the homicidal thoughts I'm having towards the dumb blonde, I'm about to go and try one last time to pull him out the door when King Kong steps in front of me blocking my view of Miles.
......Oh no, there's no way this can end well.
I run to stand in front of Miles attempting to keep him out of harms way by shielding him with my own body, pfffft like that's going to make a difference, he could squash me like an ant without even trying. but it's the thought that counts right?
"Is there a problem here?" The real life Hulk quizes, standing with his arms crossed obviously trying to look intimidating. Mate I'm not afraid...well I am but I'm sure as hell not going to let him know that.
I hear Miles gulp loudly from behind me and then he decides to open his mouth yet again. "Trinity we can go back to the hotel now if you want, I don't feel like dancing that much anymore." He informs me as if I've been waiting for his permission to leave.
Oh so now's a good time to go home is it? Well he's not wrong, I think now is a perfect time to leave.
"Alright we don't want any trouble, we just wanna leave." I tell the hulk, holding eye contact with him the whole time and with that statement I grab Miles' hand and pull him along with me towards the exit, which he is suddenly very eager to walk through. Hmm I wonder why.
