"You have a collect call from... Lucien" I heard my father's voice. "To accept the charges, press one or hang up now"
I looked at the phone contemplating whether I should answer or not.
"Press one or hang up now" the automated voice repeated.
I shook my head and hung up the phone, not wanting to deal with my father right now.
"What was that about?" Johan asked me and I shook my head not wanting to talk about it. Besides, I didn't trust him or his bitch ass brother.
He put his hands on my shoulder. I scowled at him and he quickly moved it and put his hands up in surrender.
"If you ever need to talk, I'm here man. It don't need to be no tension since we business partners now"
"Yeah, okay" I mumbled walking away from him. I pulled my phone out and called Anastasia.
"What's up" she asked sounding happy. It made me smile a little.
"What you got going on, ma?"
"Uh, nothing much helping Cam get settled in my condo. Why what's up?"
"I was wondering if we could go out tomorrow, you know, as friends. I haven't seen you much around the warehouse so I thought it'd be nice if we caught up"
"Aww that's so sweet Jay. But um, I kind of have a date with Ahmad tomorrow. How about tonight?" she asked.
"Uh yeah sure" I said more excitedly than I anticipated. "I'll pick you up at 8"
She laughed. "Okay I'll see you tonight. Bye Jay"
"Bye" I said before hanging up.

"What the hell happened here?" I mumbled driving past a trap house that burned down. There were police and medics all over the place.
I shook my head and kept driving past pulling out my phone to call Ana's business line.
"Hey you've reached Stasi. Leave a message" her automated voicemail said. I hung up and called her personal line instead.
"Hello?" she answered after the fourth ring.
"Yo, one of our traps was burned down" I said to her
"What do you mean burned down?"
"Just what the fuck I said burned down. I just drove past there and it was a bunch of police out there and paramedics"
"Paramedics?"
"Yeah paramedics"
"Jordan, there wouldn't be paramedics out there unless someone got hurt. Did you see anyone?"
I sighed. "Nah I wasn't looking. I was tryna get up outta there"
"Fuck" she said. "I'm gonna call Aaliyah and Reese and see if they know anything and I'll call you back"
"Aight ma. Let me know"
"Okay I will" she said before hanging up.
