Why does he have to do that? Damon knows how I feel he knows when I'm about to lose control, he just pulls away and I really don't want to hang out with Jelani. All I want is to be wrapped up in Damon's arms.

I feel like jelani knows what happened last night and that's why he is so nosey.

"So how was the other night?" Jelani asked.

"What?" I asked as I felt my face burn as turn red.

"Dinner with Damon."

I smile, "it was nice, I got to meet his friends and we had fun."

"I heard that you were drugged."

"It was nice up until that point, thank god Blake was there."

"What did the drug you with?"

"A date rape drug, Damon thought I was drunk and I didn't pass out and remembered the guy that drugged me, since I'm different it attacked a different part of my memory. For some reason the drug made me forget that Damon ever existed. The next morning I woke up and Damon kissed me and true loves kiss from the spell."

We were walking into the forest area and he replied, "cool, I'm happy that you're happy."

"How's ivy?"

He smiled, "she's, she's great. I love her so much, I just I can't stop thinking about her."

"I still can't believe you jumped her the first night she was here."

"I can't believe you're a mother."

"I can't believe ivy isn't pregnant."

"I can't believe you chose Damon."

I stopped dead in my tracks, "if it still bothers you you can always leave. I'm happy with my life, I'm happy with Damon, I thought you wanted to hang out like old times, we can't even do that. Jelani I want to be friends with you, I really do but if you can't accept me having a mate and you have one then that's a problem. You can't blame me for that, you have a mate she was meant for you."

I turn around and walk back to Damon

"Zanara, wait, I'm sorry!" He shouted after me.

I keep walking

"Zanara wait!"

I turn "I'm done!" I turn back and keep walking. Jelani catches up and grabs my arm. He turns me around an kisses me.

I quickly pull away, "you don't know what you've done." I warn him. I push him to the side but jelani picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. Before he started walking I pushed him to the ground choking him slightly, "this isn't like old times, I'm much stronger now." I got up as did Jelani.

I look behind Jelani and see Damon sprint out of the woods. He closes in quietly but quickly and when he reaches jelani he punches him in the jaw. Jelani falls back to the ground and Damon steps on his chest forcing jelani to the ground.

"I thought I made myself clear, you found your mate, mark her and get over yourself. This is you final warning if you touch Zanara again I will kill you, mated or not." Damon kicks jelani in the gut and grabs my hand.

"I'm sorry Damon, I didn't want to."

"I know, don't worry." He replies.

We reach the castle and Damon leaves me in the foyer, I follow him to Jelani's room. I hear him yell to Ivy, "You better watch him."
