They were on some grass. Wind was blowing slightly and it was a beautiful sight to see. In front of them was a statue. It obviously meant something to Alexei and Eva wasn’t really expecting anything better than this so she wasn’t disappointed. Alexei took her hand and they went closer to the statue. They could hear Ivan and his guys getting close but it didn’t matter. They came where they wanted to get. They felt at piece her even if they knew Ivan is coming to kill them. They were standing next to the big statue and felt numb and somewhat happy. They were happy for they weren’t running anymore and their surroundings were amazingly beautiful. They felt pleasantly tired and strongly connected to each other. They just kept enjoying the moment and waited for Ivan to strike for it didn’t matter if he did. They were happy now. But he was coming there anyways. So they waited for him together and didn’t really think about it.
