Scene opens up with Esmé in the makeup hall, wearing a dress and doing her hair. Jackie walks in with some sort of costume.
Jackie: House is open in ten minutes.
Esmé: I knew that, but good job trying to be helpful.
Jackie: What is your problem?
Esmé rises to face her.
Esmé: What's yours, hm?
Jackie: You! You're my problem! You and your idiotic fantasy where everything revolves around you!
Esmé: You just don't like how close I am with Daniel, do you?
Jackie: You know what? I don't. Because he is my friend and I would hate for him to end up with someone as awful as you.
Esmé: I don't have to hear this from you. Get out of my face.
Daniel pokes his head in.
Daniel: Is everything alright?
Esmé: No, I need help with my hair and Jackie doesn't know how to help. Didn't you say you help with your little sister's hair?
Daniel: Um, yeah, but-
Esmé: Awesome! Jackie, you should go look over your lines one more time. I noticed you tip up on your lines in Act Three.
Jackie glares at her and leaves. Esmé smiles at Daniel and begins to work on her hair.
