Author's P.O.V:

You woke up with a foul smell contaminating your nostrils making it hard to breathe and your morning a bad one. You looked around the slightly dark room to find V silently sitting on your side table

Y/n: V what's wrong? And what's this smell? It's like something died

V: I'm sure it's just a dead rat, hurry up now and get ready for school

You were surprised to how he didn't even bother to worry about it, you studied him for a while until your eye caught his shirt which seemed different. It had a stain that you never saw before, it was like the stain of dried blood

Y/n: How did you get that stain?

V: It's just paint, don't worry about it. Get ready or you'll be late for school

You didn't argue any further, there was something odd about his behaviour but now you had other things in mind. You arrived to school early and spotted Jimin at the entrance with, two other girls. It was Taeyeon and another girl you didn't know. You approached them and Jimin was the first to notice

Jimin: Hey Y/n, good morning!

Y/n: Good morning Jimin

Right then the two girls turned towards you, Taeyeon came running with a worried face

Taeyeon: Y/n how are you feeling?

You felt happy that she was worried for you

Y/n: Yeah I'm fine now, thank you for caring about me

Taeyeon smiled and you noticed the other girl beside her

Tiffany: Look at you! You're even cuter than what Jimin described!! I'm Tiffany, no need introduction I already know who you are Y/n

You blushed, half because you felt embarrassed how she treated you like a kid and half because of what Jimin called you. It's not like he didn't call you that before but you thought he was kidding

Tiffany: Aww! Look at you all red and shy! You and Jimin would look so cute together!!

Jimin: Yah!! Stop it already!

You and Taeyeon both laughed at Jimin who tried to stop Tiffany from talking. Just then Sehun came running with teary eyes.

Taeyeon: Woah what's up with you?

He was panting and crying at the same time

Sehun: I-It's it's V-ver-n-no- h-he

He choked on his tears and couldn't make out any words

Jimin: Calm down dude! Now tell us what's wrong

He calmed down but still had tears falling

Sehun: Vernon, h-he's dead

All of you were speechless, mouths hanging down no one knew how to react. You were shocked and petrified, even when he bullied you no one deserved death for that

Taeyeon: You're not l-lying are you?

Tiffany: I don't understand

Sehun: The police found his family dead in their house, it just happened all too fast.

Jimin: First B/n and now Vernon, what's going on around here?

Tiffany: I think this school is haunted, we should run away while we can
