chapter 15:

*angels pov*
*almost a month later*

When jimmy walked into rehearsal we were all hoping a smile would be on his face but nothing, he looked dead. We all knew that he wasn't dead but inside he was, his heart was probably rotting slowly.

we all haven't seen a smile on his face in a long time, he has been drinking a lot, and doesn't shave as much as he used to. He has to deal with the court as far as trying to get Cassie sentence but they won't till Lizzy wakes up so right now they are just holding her. As for Jimmy he has been trying to accept the factor that he might have to pull the plug on Lizzy.

*2 months later*
*jimmys pov*

It's been 3 months since I seen Lizzy's face full of life or even her unique eyes, 3 months since I heard her laugh, 3 months since the last time I felt her sweet caress. The court said this was her last chance to wake up they are tired of waiting. All odds are against me, everyone in their own way has been telling me to pull the plug on Lizzy...... I guess this is where that saying goes if you love something you got to let them go.

I got up and got ready for judgement day, I shaved, dressed, and ate a little for breakfast. I didn't eat a lot because I have had a hard time keeping things down which has cause me to lose a few pounds. I think the only way I could have gained any weight would be in all the beer I have drank.
"Are you sure you can do this?" Angel asked me from the opening of the kitchen with the rest of the gang behind her.
"I have too" I sighed as I put my bowl in the sink. I walked over to them and hugged each and every one of them. "I love you all see you in court."

when I got to the hospital, the nurses knew me by name, they said hi I waved and just walked on by to Lizzy's room. Her room was filled with flowers from me and the rest of the guys, she laid there still perfectly still. I sigh shakily before speaking.

*lizzy pov*

I could hear what was going on around me and feel when people touch me but I couldn't do anything about it. I couldn't react, I couldn't speak if my body was moved it was by someone else otherwise I was pretty much lifeless, trapped inside my own body. Deep inside my own mind where I had to try and find a way out.

I heard jimmy walk in, I could tell it was him by his footsteps I heard him also sigh heavily before taking a seat next to me, he held my hand and began to speak.
"Lizzy I'm going to be honest with you, even if you can't hear me I feel you need to know this. I love you, not just that but I can see us having a life together. I want to settle down with you, kids are still questionable but I want to marry you so we can be together foREVer. But if you can't wake then I'm....." He started to choke up "I'm going to have to let you go when I get back from court, I'm hoping you will find your way back though. From wherever you are, I feel we we're meant to be." I could hear him silently start to cry. His hand slowly slipped from mine as he stood up and kissed my lips softly for what I hoped wouldn't be the last time.

When I heard him leave the room a tear escaped my eye, but how is that possible? I tried to move my hand and it slowly started to move that's when my eyes fluttered open. I took a extremely deep breath, It was very dry making me cough a little. I began to search for the nurse button to call for one to get the hell out of here. When one arrived she was completely shocked I was awake.

"your awake I need to go get" I interrupted her.
"Me crutches now" I demanded.

*at the courthouse*

I felt stupid crunching myself in the courthouse with crutches and in a hospital gown but it needed to be done. At least I was able to put my bra and undies on before I left the hospital or else I would be flashing everyone.

"Excuse me I'm Lizzy Curse could you point me to the court room" I asked a woman cop who pointed me in the right direction. "Thanks." I crutched over to the doors and pushed them wide open fairly easy. "New evidence has come to life!!!!!" Everyone stood up and gasped at the sight of me the only face I really wanted to see was Jimmy's.

When he stepped out into the aisle he ran to me I couldn't help but start to cry once I was in his arms. He smelled very good, I missed his embrace so much.
"I heard you, I wanna marry you too gosh I love you so much" I blubbered as he held me. My crutches fell to the ground as he held me against his tall frame, he was like me we didn't really want any space between us.
"Gosh I thought I would never hear your voice again....." He sniffled. He then pulled away and kissed me deeply and passionately almost as if it honestly was the last time he would. We were kinda creating a scene but we really missed each other so who could blame us.

*an hour later*

Cassie was found guilty and would not be allowed out of jail for a very long time. We all went out for lunch to celebrate, jimmy would kiss me on the cheek every chance he got.

"I missed you so much" he admitted while nuzzling my ear.
"I missed you too" I smiled, turning my head towards him our lips connected for a brief second and he kissed me two more times but slightly longer.
"Come on save it for the bedroom" zacky complained making us laugh.

"Gosh I could eat a bear I feel like I have ate in well..... 3 months" I joked.
"Well I wonder why" Brian laughed.
"Who knows" I shrugged my shoulders. When our food arrived we all chowed down and talked among ourselves. We were back to being a family again.
