"Oh thanks god" My red wet hair stuck to my face as I pulled my luggage through my front door. I let it close and smiled happily, "good to be home" I murmured dropping my bags and walking through to the living area. The rain outside was horrendous, the wind nearly blew me away, but what I saw in front of me made me want to run back out and be blown away far from here.
"What the bloody hell do you think your doing?" I exclaimed watching the man and woman jump out from there intimate baby making session and fall to the floor.
"Ma..Maddy you weren't meant to be home until tomorrow" But I ignored him and ran to my couch, my brand new couch.
"Not the sofa, this cost be so much, and you have sex on it you pig" I couldn't see why I was so bothered about him having sex on the couch, I would... It was a nice couch. If my husband wanted to make love on this couch I happily would. But it would seem he had other plans.
"Maddy please, I'm sorry, I love you.. It meant nothing" I never liked his voice, was really high for a man of thirty but I guess I fell for his charms, he was an actor after all.
"It's fine, just get her out of here and clean the bloody couch" How was I so calm about this? Truth be told I wasn't calm, inside there was a mini volcano ready to erupt. That's why I went out side to the balcony and screamed. Not once, nor twice but four times actually and then I cried and screamed again. Helped quite a lot surprisingly. And also the torrential rain and storms muffled it all out.
Three hours later, me and my husband were sat on either side of the room. We hadn't spoke, I just watched him scrub the sofa clean four times until I was happy with it new clean condition. But then he broke the silence, sadly.
"Maddy I'm sorry baby, it was a mistake, she meant nothing to me" He cried sliding closer to me.
"How long?" I asked staring out of the giant window looking at the sea. The rain had stopped now and the clouds were blown away, leaving a starry dark sky.
"Only today have I ever done anything with another woman" I laughed and slapped my thigh giving him a sarcastic look.
"Okay let's try again, try not to talk shit, how long have you been cheating on me?" His eyes looked to the floor, as he wondered if he should tell me.
"Four.. Four years" My stomach dropped, we got married three years ago, so that means...
"You sick bastard" I screamed grabbing the nearest thing and throwing it at him. I must say I had a good throw, hitting him straight on the back of his head, shame it was a mug though... Must have hurt quite a lot. I quite liked that mug too.
It was now eleven at night, and I was stuck in hospital waiting room with my cheating liar of a husband. In my truth I think he deserved the mug to be thrown at him. Although I didn't mean for him to have stitches...
My husband is called Dean, famous for being an actor in one of the biggest films of all time. Although I found it quite boring, not going to lie. I'm a book writer, writing romance novels and some fantasy, I met him while touring America. He was doing a book signing for his auto biography. I actually hated him, his stupid spikey hair cut trying to look cool, and 'down with the kids' and his cockiness, but that night he asked me if I would like to go for a drink and from there I was down the isle in a fluffy wedding dress I hated, with bridesmaids I didn't even know.
Thinking about it, I dont even remember the day very well. I drank until the early morning, wondering if I made the right choice. To marry a movie star. The stories about stars we horrendous, cheating and such, but I trusted him... okay, I was waiting for me to come home one night and find him cheating on me but, not even before we got married.
Dean groaned and placed his hands behind his head. I felt bad, but he did deserve it. "The newspapers are gonna have a field day with this" He complained, thumping his fist on his leg, in agony. I chuckled dryly.
"No they will have a field day, that you cheated on your wife" I said flatly.
"It's not a big thing Maddy, can't we just start again, please?" I couldn't believe what he was saying... how was it nothing? Like I would stay with him.
"You really think im gonna stay with a cheating bastard like you?" I said laughing and standing up, why was I even here with him?
"It was a mistake, please, I can't deal with the newspapers and hassle right now, my career will go down hill, just because you want to be a selfish brat" And that was it, it felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.
"Well then I guess I should go pack my bags then" I said straightning my clothes out. He looked up at me with a shocked expression.
"Your leaving?" I nodded.
"I'm not being in a relationship with a cheater, and to be honest you weren't that good in bed anyway" I said grabbing my bag leaving him dumbfounded. "Oh and expect one less follower on twitter" And I was gone. I was free again, but the first thing I needed to do, was find somewhere to live.
I pulled at my phone and called the one person I knew could help, although I was sure she would have something to say about the whole situation, I scrolled down and pressed ring.
"Hello?"
"Hey mum..."
