"We're here!" I heard Hook yell awakening me from my slumber. I turned around in my bed to look out the small porthole beside my bed. What I saw was a beautiful town and people waiting beside the dock.
"Come on Brook, let's go!" Syren burst into the room making her way towards my room and pulling me out of my bed. Since I was so tired and in no way excited about getting up and meeting people this early in the morning, I fell to the floor. Causing Syren to, of course, double over laughing.
"Ouch," I wheezed.
"Hurry up let's go!" Syren pulled me up off of the floor, out the door, and down the steps.
Always a ball of energy, Syren is, even this early in the morning.
However Syren didn't stop at the docks. She kept on pulling me along to Mr. Gold pawnbroker's. I looked around the shop to see that it was extremely cluttered, full of all different types of objects, but in a way charming.
"So, why are we here?" I asked while looking around the shop in wonder.
"Duh. Rumplestiltskin, spins gold strings. We need gold strings. Do I have to spell it out for you."
"Oh," I sighed quietly.
"Aha! Found it!" Syren exclaimed triumphantly.
"Ok so now all we need is something from Neverland and Storybrooke, Peter's blood, Henry's blood, and my blood." I took out a bowl, took out my dagger, and cut my hand releasing my blood.
"Do you have anything on you from Neverland?"
"I don't think-" I stopped mid sentence and looked down at my wrist noticing that I still had on the cuff that Pan had put on me, "never mind, I do." I took off the cuff and proceeded to cut it into small pieces. "What should we use from Storybrooke?"
"I got a pebble off of the beach this morning." Syren answered handing me a small rock that I then smashed into even smaller pieces and put into the bowl.
"Ok so how about you take care of Henry and I'll take care of Peter?" I asked Syren.
"Sounds good."
"Ok so we'll meet at 11:00 and give each other their blood then give them both the potion at 11:30."
"Alright let's get to work then."

I found Henry, or Pan, or whatever you want to call him walking around with Regina in the center of town. I approached them, wondering how I could get Pan away from her long enough to convince him to give me his blood.
"Hello Regina, Hello Henry," I said happily.
"What do you want?" Regina asked harshly.
"Just to apologize again for what I did, and maybe talk to Henry about it alone." I told her in my sweetest and most convincing voice.
"And why the hell would I-"
"Mom, it's ok," Pan cut Regina off already walking away with me. "What is it Brook?"
"I found a way to make you more powerful." I lied easily, following the plan that Syren and I created.
       "And how is that?"
"It's a spell I learned back in Everland. All I need from you is your blood and for you to meet me at 11:30 to take the potion."
"What is that name of the potion?"
Pan pressed and I preyed that he hadn't caught on to my lie.
Bloody hell, what can I tell him the name of the thing is? He can't know the real name, then he'll know that I'm lying!
"It's called Flask of Domination, it's an old British potion used by witches in the mid 1800s." I hoped and preyed to God that he didn't care or wasn't smart enough to figure out that I had just made all of that up.
"Ok,"he said reaching his hand out and looking down at my dagger that was being held in my thigh holster, "let's do this." I grabbed my dagger and cut his hand and took out a bowl that I had taken from Gold's shop. I cut his hand and watched the blood drip into the bowl then quickly walked away.
*************************************
"Did you get it?" I asked Syren as she walked into the shop.
"Of course I did. Don't you have any faith in me?"
"Not really," I said and laughed. Syren handed me a bowl full of blood and I mixed everything together in the bowl.
"Adeo ne hominem immutare ex amore, ut non cognoscas eundem esse," I recited the words of the spell, put the mix into two cups, and handing one to Syren, "now go give this to Henry."
"Ok, I'll be back at 12:00 to get Peter and take him back to Everland with you, sound good?"
       "Sounds perfect, see you then."
*************************************
"Why there you are," I told Peter as he walked in the door ten minutes after he was supposed to be here. It wasn't a big deal but since I'm naturally anxious I was afraid that he had caught on to Syren and I's plan.
"Sorry, Regina wouldn't let me leave," he replied, "now where's the potion." He then quickly came to stand beside me, looking over my shoulder at the cup holding the potion.
"Well it's ready," I turned around and handed him the potion, "drink."
"Thanks," Pan told me more out of obligation than genuine kindness.
"No problem," I said for the same reason. He then put the cup to his lips and gulped it down. After it was gone there was a puff of green smoke and the boy was transformed back into his normal body.
"I don't feel any different," he said looking back down at him self.
"Well I can assure you it worked," I said smoothly but feeling anything but.
"This wasn't the Flask of Domination potion. You lying twat!" He screamed.
"Yes, yes it was I promise," I tried to calm him down backing away slowly.
"No it wasn't! I've known you for 157 years, don't you think I know when your lying!"
What happened next is all a blur. One minute I was trying to get as far away from him as possible and the next I looked down and saw my own dagger soaked in my own blood and blood also pouring out of a deep wound in my chest. I gasped and fell to the floor.
"Wh-Why," I gasped out.
"Why my poor, poor Brooklyn, this is life, or as I should say for you, this is death," he smirked and walked out the door.
I knew that I had to keep my eyes open but it was so hard. I laid on the floor for what felt like hours, but was really only minutes until Syren walked in the door. She saw me right away and gasped, coming to rest on the floor beside me.
"I'm.... so.... so.... sorry," I breathed out weakly. I knew that Syren wanted to help but we both knew that she wasn't nearly strong enough.
For some reason I couldn't help but remember what a women had told me so long ago when she was on her death bed after I had killed her to cast the spell that gave me eternal youth.
Don't do it. Don't release her. You'll be sorry!
