You did nothing all day. By nothing, you meant eat, sleep, and stream Netflix. Overall, you were pretty content. You're parents had been gone all day because of their work. The doorbell interrupted your focus on the latest murder mystery you had been watching.
The moment you opened the door, some brunette tackled you into a hug.
"Ohmygod what do I do?!" you thought. However, the brunette started talking, so you decided to listen before trying to call the police.
"[Name] it's been so long! Do you even recognize your cousin Tifa?"
"No. I have no idea who you are," you said as you tried to remember where your family kept the mace.
"Ha ha, classic [Name]. I was adopted by your great-uncle when we were both little, so that's probably why you don't remember me."
"Do I even have a great-uncle?" you thought.
"Uh, well what brings you here?"
"I'm here to help you move in with me! I can't believe you got accepted to the academy!"
"What."
Tifa giggled. "Your parents wanted you to move in with me so you can be closer to the school."
"What."
"Kingdom Twilight Destiny Hearts Academy had been keeping an eye on you and decided they wanted you to enroll, so now you're a student there!"
"I did not give legal consent to any of this. What the hell kind of name is that for a school anyway?" you thought as you tried to come up with a plan to send the girl away. Alas, she was too quick and was able to bound up the stairs to your room while saying something about helping you pack.
You were torn between going up after her to make sure she didn't steal anything and calling the police. So you took a third option and called your parents.
They didn't pick up. They didn't pick up after the second call either. Or the third. Or the fourth.
"Oh god. Did she... did she do something with my parents?"
You hesitantly entered your room, trying to keep your distance from the potentially dangerous woman.
"Where are my parents," you demanded.
"Oh, they must have forgotten to call you. They both got sent away on a business trip, however, they get bad reception where they are so you won't be able to contact them until they get back."
"And when's that?"
"It hasn't been determined yet."
"This is the biggest pile of bullshit I have ever heard."
Before you could speed dial 911, "Tifa", if that is her real name, grabbed you by the hand and dragged you downstairs and outside along with a duffle bag that she somehow packed with clothes in the 3 minutes it took you to get to your room. Now that you think about it, where did she get the duffle bag?
Next thing you know, you're been driven away from your house by the crazy girl who says she's related to you, The only thing preventing you from opening the car door and diving off to the side of the road was the fact that it was locked.
"Dear god please let someone call Amber Alert," you thought as your house disappeared from your view.
Author's Note:
So what do you think? This chapter's pretty short because I wanted to give you all a feel for what it would be like. Any suggestions? Feel free to tell me what you want to see happen in the story. Hope you enjoyed it!
