Friday night rolls around, and I'm excited and sad, excited that i get to see them before i leave buy sad that i have to leave. We meet up at our usually pizza hang out around the corner form my house. When we sit down we get a booth and Daniel sits next me even though we broke up and Cass sits across from us on her phone, since she is such the social butterfly. Soon the waiter gives us our food and we talk about anything and everything
"Do you think moving will change you?" Cass asks genuinely
" I dunno" ask taking a bite of my pasta even though i want to change "I don't want to be so shy and timid at this new place" Cass laughs at my response which i find a bit rude but she is usually like this so I'm use to it, i know she cares about me.
"Why is that so funny?" i frown
"you have been like this for ages what makes you think a place will change you. i just don't think your capable of being well" she thinks about a word to say " lets say badass"
"She can if she wants to be" Daniel states and i stay quiet, cause honestly maybe Cass is right but maybe Daniel is right. We will have to wait and see. The topic changes and we continue to talk about meaningless things. The night was going great until a group of girls from school walk in.
"Oh hey Cass" they walk up to our table, gosh i hate them and there thinking they are better than everyone else but i just hope they leave and don't say anything to me.
"Oh and Alana right?" they laugh
"It's Elena" i say quietly
"Sorry couldn't here you" i tun my head away
"Her name is Elena" Cass speaks up
"Cass i honestly don't know why you hang out with her you have so much potential you could be so popular like us, you could go out and not have to be a bodyguard and guys wont be scared to come up to because you want be with her" Cass seems to think about this. Really?
"Guys can you leave your presence is unwanted" Daniel says getting a bit angry
"Look loser this is a free country we can do what we want"
"Guys just leave us alone and i am friends with Elena cause she is a great best friend"
"Yeah okay, well when you get bored of her let us know" She walks off winking at Cass and glaring at me.
"Hey don't worry about them" Cass comforts me
"How are you even friends with them?" I ask cause honestly who would want to be friends with them.
"I'm friends with everyone" I sigh releasing she is right
"Dont let them get to you, you got to be strong" Daniel says getting up with Cass getting ready to leave
'well hopefully iw ill be at this new place" i mumble
"What?" Daniel asks thinking i was talking to him
"Oh, nothing" i give him the a fake smile and he just raises his eyebrows
"Daniel im fine" i reassure him
"Okay" he turns back around and we ride our bikes home
"Cya guys tomorrow"
"Bye Elena" Daniel waves and rides off
"Cya honey bun" Cass says while getting in he mums car since she lives a bit further away from Daniel and i
I get back home and see mum doing some last minute packing.
