I spend most of the morning in my own world. I almost caused an accident on Noah's bike because he turned around to see if i was sick. I usually rest my head on his back but i was too busy thinking. We did training but i was so bad today i couldn't pass the ball straight or get a single shot.
She is 12 hours away and she has this much control over me. Why would she do this we are best friends, well where best friends.
we are now at lunch and im looking down at my food not eating while the others give each other curious glances.
"Alright that's it, what the hell is wrong with you? " bella asks
"im fine" and the stare at me again and i just shrug
"is this about the messages?" Christian asks
"messages?" everyone else responded, i sigh but don't say anything, "time to explain" alison says
"It's nothing i have just been getting messages lately from a what i thought was an unknown number"
"what did the messages say?" Mike asks
"Forget that you said you thought it was unknown which means you know who it is " Sophia points out.
"They have just been saying stuff like im glad you left and stuff like that"
"who would be so cruel?" seath says
"Cassandra" i mumble
"who?" luke asks
"my... ex?" i nod my head "yeah ex best friend" their jaws drop
" what kind of friends did you have?" alison ask and bella nudges her with a glare and she shrugs
"Friend not friends, i only had one, and an ex-boyfriend, but he stopped talking to me"
"Block the number" Seath says
"I can't"
"i know it's hard, you know once being best friends but-" bella starts before i cut her off
"no it's not that, i seriously can't physically, well technologically block her" they look confused "dont worry i can handle it" The bell rings and i head off to class. Which is maths great mr Rouge. I walk in there and there is a sub i look confusingly at Christian. He looks at me confused then i can see relization flush his face.
"ohh i forgot to tell you didnt i?"
"forgot to tell me what?"
"my parents got a divorce"
"what!, how long ago was this?"
"i couple days after our fight i guess i just forgot because it had been a while, my mum is dating again though"
"why the divorce?"
"mum caught him abusing me and she relised how long it's been going on for and got a divorce with him, and now she got a restrainment order because he was stalking her after the divorce and thats why he is not here" i nod my head "mum was apoligising to me for ages for not knowing buy i assured her it's fine, she is still upset with me a bit for not telling her"
"thats great your mum is seeing someone else, hey so is my mum a week or so ago she said she is seeing someone and im so happy for her, it's been hard with dad back" he smiles at me and we go back to work. After Noah and i finish surfing i head inside and see mum cooking a turkey.
"mum? you do know we dont have thanksgiving in Australia and its not even thanksgiving"
she laughs "i know but the person i have been seeing is comming over and she is bring her child so go get changed they will be here in half an hour"
