Chapter 4- Brooklyn

3 days later

Margot had officially closed on a deal on some small studio apartment in the heart of Brooklyn which she loved because it had a lot of character with its surrounding environment according to the landlord the famous rapper Biggie used to live across the street Margot doesn't quite believe it but if it's true then that just adds more character to the already creative environment that is Brooklyn.  The first thing she did after getting the keys was text the man who she hasn't stopped texting since he texted her after getting her number which was, of course, Jared Leto.

M: I got the apartment!!!! You need to come check it out!!

J: I'll make time to come see it beautiful.

Margot blushed at the beautiful comment she was probably overthinking it Jared probably calls all women beautiful that just how sweet he is.

M: Maybe you can help me unpack ;)

J: I'll try to sneak out of recording studio early today so I can swing by.

Margot and Jared had a couple more text exchanges before she gave him the address to the apartment

-A few hours later-

The young blonde was in the middle of unpacking her belongings that had been shipped from Australia when she heard her phone go off she quickly got up looking at the number when she saw it was her friend Harper she was kinda sad it wasn't Jared but also very happy to hear from Harper. The thoughts of the many crazy nights they had together came back and she looked down at the text

H- Hey, girl I just heard you were in New York. We need to party soon my beautiful friend.

M- Yeah how about you bring over some drinks and we can party at my new apartment in Brooklyn.

H- see in a few hours.

The blonde smiled wide and put her phone down before she quickly went to work making sure the Apartment was in good condition.

A few hours later-

Harper knocked on the door the best she could her long yet toned arms were full with bags that had different drinks unsure what Margot liked anymore. The door opened revealing the slim blonde Australian in a black crop top and a black pair of leggings with a red and black flannel tied around her waist. Harper stood at 5'6 she had but with Steve Madden Dynemite in Black Suede which made her at least 5'8. Margot's eyes wander down the curvy yet slim body of Harper's it wasn't for a sexual reason it was more to admire her Kill Star Magi Maxi Dress she wouldn't wear something like that but it looked good on her friend. The blonde took two of the four bags that Harper had in her arms walking into her simple apartment which had the bare minimum of what was needed for an apartment. Margot placed the bags on the granite island that it was in her very small kitchen space before the blonde could really object to anything Harper started taking the alcohol out and pouring into red plastic cups small amounts of tequila "cut the lime" Harper said interrupting the blonde thoughts. Margot did as she was told handed a slice of lime to the older women "Ohh let's do that intertwined arm thing" the Australian actress said which caused the dark haired women to smile wide "fine you dork. " Harper handed Margot her red plastic cup before they intertwined their arms and both of the women brought the cup to their lips quickly taking the liquid into their mouths. They both made sour faces and took their arms back and quickly took the lime into their mouths. The two beauties took a few more shots before finally making the famous drink called Jack and Coke they after making the drink they sat on the couch and began gossiping about little things here and there but they were mainly just catching up with each other's lives. Harper was in the middle of telling a story about her ex-boyfriend cheating her when Margot heard the text notification from her phone which causes her to turn her attention the screen

J: I know it's late but is it still ok if swing by?

The blonde face lit up with a smile and Harper quickly took the phone from her blonde friend "Aw you like him huh?" she said reading the text message. Margot blushed before taking her phone back "I think he is cute and funny but also caring" she said but Margot knew she was definitely developing feelings for the man on the other side of the texts.

M: Please come over haha My friend Harper is boring me with her gossip lol 

She finally replied to Jared before looking up at Harper who was smirking "I think I am going to leave" the pale-skinned women said getting up to collect her bag "What? Why? I just told him you were here" Margot said before Harper laughed a little "Because you two need time alone," she said winking. Margot laughed as her Gothic friend left her apartment to get into a cab downstairs.

J: I should be there in 10 minutes

M: Can't wait lol Harper just left so now  I am alone haha

Once Jared read the text stating that Margot was alone he got butterflies which made shake his head before saying to himself "Jared you are a 40 damn years old. You are way too old for her"
