Chapter 12- You're What

Chapter 12- you're what?

Jared stopped right in his tracks as Margot explained herself on why she was certain the baby was his and he shook his head in disbelief and turned back "you're what?" She whispered looking down "Pregnant." she said with tears in her eyes as Jared shook his head "no that's bullshit. I always wear a condom. You are just lying to try and get me to talk to you." Margot looked at him in disbelief "really? What do you have to offer me that I don't already have? I have Tom. I have money. What could you give me that I would be lying." Jared walked over to her and sighed softly because he knew that she was right"It is your choice but are you going to keep the baby?" Margot bites her lip and put her hand on her stomach "I would like to" the blue-eyed man smiled softly "then it's settled. I will figure out something. I am sorry I put you in this mess, Margot." She shook her head and wiped her eyes "it takes two of us to make a baby Jared." Jared chuckled a little "come on. Let's go back to my hotel room and we can talk more" the blonde nodded as the long haired man took her hand leading her to the car that was going to take him back to his hotel.

Hotel room.

Margot sat down on the couch and watched as Jared moved around the hotel room. She was playing with her rings as he walked around and eventually sat down "alright. So how is this going to work? You live in London and I am in Los Angeles. Are you going to move?" The blonde sighed softly and played her ring "can I talk to Tom about this?" Jared felt jealousy run through his veins she couldn't honestly think that he was going to allow some guy play father to his child.  "What is there to talk about? I am the father of this child and my son or daughter isn't going to be in a different country from me" Margot shook her head "no that's not what I meant and I would never do that to you. I just want to talk him and see if he still wants to be with me. If he does he needs to be involved with the decision." Jared nodded and put his hand on her knee "listen. I am sorry for all the ways I've tried to handle my feelings towards you. Honestly, I am I just don't know what it is about you, Margot. You do these things to my head and play with my heart in ways that I've never had done before." Margot put her hand on his shoulder and rubbed it "Jared, I do love you and I care for you a lot and I was heart broken when I left New York and you hated me. I felt like it was a shot in my heart. Jared, margotI love you and all I ever wanted since coming to America well since meeting you is you." Jared leaned over and took her head "I promise Margot if Tom doesn't want to be with you anymore which is understandable on his part. I promise I will try and my hardest to win your heart again.. I'll do it all. The courtship, the meeting of my mother and brother. All of it well actually you will have to meet my mother either way because she will be excited about finally having a grandchild" Margot laughed softly and wiped her happy tears "understandable." She said smiling a little and running her hand through her hair "I am going to go to my hotel room and get changed and ready for bed" she said getting up as Jared grabbed her wrist "just stay with me. Please" Margot laughed a little "then come with me back to my hotel room because I feel icky," she said smiling and Jared nodded "fine I'll go" Jared walked down to the elevator and went up to the floor Margot is at  and walked down to her hotel room walking in.  Jared sat down on the couch as Margot took a shower and came out getting dressed in a long t shirt and a pair of shorts. She braided her hair in a French braid. She laid down and Jared laid next to her she of course scooted close to him and laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes smiling softly. Jared slide his hand up her shirt his cold hand on her warm back and ran his fingertips up and down her spin. Margot closed her and drifted off to sleep quietly as Jared held her close.
