Marinette's POV

We spent a long time at Master Fu's and Adrien still acted unsure when he made a noise or if I went to tickle him, what happened in his first childhood to make him so in baby-like?

"Marinette?" I look away from the small boy to see Master Fu was the one to call me, he motions for me to follow him. "Have you noticed the way he behaves? So timid?" He asks also watching Adrien, I nod sighing sadly. "I think I may have an idea. I think he stayed the way he is because he never had a proper childhood, he was expected to be a certain way so I think once he's experienced that it's okay to make mistakes and have fun then he will change back." that makes a lot of sense, I nod.

"So I need to look after him and teach him this?" I ask making sure I understand, Master Fu smiles and nods. "And Plagg?" I ask concerned for the kwami.

"The same. I suspect he will either change back soon, with love from Tikki and yourself or he will change back with Adrien." I thank him and we go back to them, I tell Tikki the theory Master Fu have come up with and she agrees. I glance up at the clock and see that it's nearly time for lunch at school, Alya thinks I'm ill so she'll be coming round .... oh no! "Thank you for your help Master Fu but we need to get going. Feel free to come by the bakery." I say placing the kwamis in my purse and Adrien on my hip before walking to the door.

"Anytime Marinette and come back if there is anything else. Also I will ring Mr Agreste and give an excuse so you will have nothing to worry about." He lets me know and I thank him then rush off trying not to fall or drop the child I'm carrying. Oh no what am I going to do with Adrien if Alya comes? I'll think of something.

I get home and race up the stairs, Tikki flies out of my bag with Plagg then hides on my desk. I look round slowly panicking, I put Adrien on the floor surrounded by pillows and fabric in case he falls back. "Tikki? Could you keep an eye on Adrien while I get my pjs on so Alya believes I've been asleep all morning?" I ask my kwami with a pleading look, she smiles nodding. Relieved I rush to the bathroom to change coming back to my room I see Adrien sat in the exact same position as I left him, this is going to be awhile to change this but at least I can help my crush, friend and partner... I owe him so much. "Thank you Tikki." I scoop up the boy and walk to my bed where I place him in my lap as I sketch some clothes and toys for him, I see him reach out and pat two toys. "Do you like them baby?" I ask in a soft voice making him look up at me with a bright smile and he nods. "Good. Then I will make them ones for you. I think I will also make these to outfits for now and this blanket." I tell him even though he may not understand (A/N: Picture above) I hear and see him clap a little in joy. Aw he's so cute I think to myself.

"Mari!" I hear Alya shout from outside. I look around before seeing Adrien yawn brilliant! I text Alya to come in as I gently rock a tired blonde to sleep before lying him in the makeshift bed from the night before, I then rush down lying on the sofa with a blanket wrapped around me. Just in time too. Alya walks in as I make myself appear as ill as possible. "Oh Mari... let me make you a drink and something to eat." she heads to the kitchen. This makes me feel so guilty but at the same time I need to care and protect my partner. Alya soon comes back placing a hot chocolate and soup on the table next to me, I smile in thanks as she sits in front of me "So guess who else isn't in?" she says I shrug pretending to not know but I do because well he's upstairs. "Adrien." I look at her with mild shock.

"Where's Nino?" I ask quietly as if I had a sore throat, I see her blush before stuttering a quiet 'outside' "What?! You left him outside alone?" I gasp shocked, she nods telling me it was because she didn't want to crowd me and she wasn't going to stay long as they wanted to check on Adrien as well. "Fine I forgive you. You best go then" I say she nods and hugs me briefly telling me to ring if I need anything. Now I really feel bad but I couldn't do anything else. I wait about five minutes before swiftly walking down and locking up then I prepare some food for Adrien and Tikki. "What does Plagg eat?" I ask myself but coming up blank I call the same out to Tikki who replies with camembert cheese. Ew. So I fine some then take it all upstairs I place cookies and cheese on my desk for them two while I eat my soup and drink the hot chocolate that Alya made me. After the three of us are done I take the dishes down and clean them once I get back upstairs I see Adrien just waking up, his bottom lip is slightly trembling and his eyes are rimmed with tears "Oh baby..." I rush over pulling him into a hug "...Are you okay? Was it a scary dream?" I ask and feel him nod at the latter so I bring him closer and comfort him before bringing him up to eye level "Are you hungry?" I ask with a little smile that grows when he nods and looks at his growling tummy. I give him the food I made him before walking over to my fabric and sewing machine. Time to start on his outfits, toys and blanket.

(Time skip)

"Finished." I declare as I hold up the finished ladybug teddy. Adrien has been sat peacefully on my lap the entire time he even tried to help which I found sooo cute but then he panicked and looked up with a fearful expression.

"Oh Marinette they all look wonderful." Tikki gushes while gently rocking a sleeping Plagg.

"Thank you Tikki. Here I made this for him." I say holding out a tiny version of Adrien's blanket and a small pillow. I place them next to the bed I made for Tikki and she gently lies him on them.

"Thank you Marinette!" she hugs my cheek before hovering in front of Adrien "Thank you as well Adrien." she hugs his shoulder and places a small kiss on his cheek. I look at the time and see that it's nearing eight at night.

"Time for bed Adrien." I inform the blonde as he looks up at me and smiles, I smile back then change him into his new baby grow. It feels strange changing him since I have a crush on him. "Tikki, remind me to go shopping tomorrow. We need to get a pack of nappies/pull-ups as well as some other items." she nods then goes to sleep. I pick up the little boy taking him out to my roof where I sit softly singing him a lullaby once he is asleep I return him to his bed and I lie next to him in mine.

This is going to be a challenge.

"Goodnight Adrien." I whisper placing a light kiss to his forehead. I hope you come back soon and that I haven't changed you too much.
