Adrien's POV

Why does my head hurt? What happened? I remember I got hit, what's new?, but I don't remember what happened after that. Or do I?

I realise that I'm lay on something soft and there's something warm by my side. I'm confused. I open my eyes then close them due to the light once I've adjusted to the light I look around. I'm in someone's bedroom, it's familiar. Why is it familiar? Oh it's Marinette's room. Why am I in Marinette's room? The thing that was warm against me moves causing me to look down.... I freeze in shock. Marinette is the thing that was lay with me and I was in her bed. I shake myself out of my frozen state and look back at the sleeping girl, when I look at her I feel something that I have only felt around Ladybug... Love? Do I love Marinette? What happened? Isn't she scared of me? Where's Plagg? I'm about to shout for Plagg when suddenly everything comes crashing back in an tidal wave of emotion.

I was hit as Cat Noir, I turned into a toddler. Ladybug brought me with her. Ladybug? Marinette? They're the same person. She took care of me, she loved me. I remember last night how I woke up crying believing she was going to leave me but Mari said she would never do that then she sang to me. She has a lovely voice. What do I do now? Marinette will freak out if she wakes up and sees me as me not as a baby. I begin to panic as I can't move since Mari is on the side to get out of the bed and she has her arms around me. Only one thing to do. I gather up all my courage then reach out gently shaking my classmate, partner and friend awake. "Marinette?" I whisper "Marinette?" I say a little louder. She starts to stir then she reaches up rubbing her eyes before looking at me, her eyes go wide and she begins to panic. I smile a little at the familiarity of her stuttering and the emotions in her eyes - panic, love, happiness, sadness and uncertainty - I decide to take pity on the girl who has given up almost a week of her life to care for me. "It's okay Mari. I know what happened. I remember everything." I tell her and instantly I see relief wash over her and she smile sleepily up at me.

"You remember everything?" she asks, I nod. "Good. It would have been hard to explain. Tikki?" she calls out to her kwami. We wait for a reply which never comes instead we see a red and a black blur zoom towards us once they come to a stop in front of us it turns out to be our kwamis, Tikki and Plagg. "Oh good. Plagg you're back to normal. Tikki can you make sure these two are ready to go, there's a hoodie in my wardrobe for Adrien as well as other clothes. Fill Adrien on where are going." Mari confuses me as she speaks to her kwami.

"Of course Marinette, I'm assuming you're talking about Master Fu." Tikki replies and Mari nods then disappears down the stairs. I look to Tikki silently asking for her to explain. "Marinette has gone to make breakfast while you need to get dressed so that we can go to Master Fu, who is the great miraculous holder and he chose you two to be Ladybug & Cat Noir, so that we can make sure the pair of you are okay and there's no lasting damage." With that said she races over to a cupboard then brings me an outfit that has an over-sized hoodie. I nod in thanks as she takes Plagg downstairs where Mari is. I dress quickly then join everyone else downstairs.

"Marinette. Where are your parents?" I ask as I sit down at the breakfast bar in her kitchen.

"Oh Adrien. There away doing something for the bakery. Do the clothes fit alright?" she jumps spinning round to talk to me. I chuckle a bit and nod "Yeah they're great thank you. Did you make these?" I ask her since I've never seen these anyway before now. I see her cheeks glow as she looks down at her feet, which she nervously twirls on the ground.

"Y-Yeah, s-sorry if t-they're n-not s-something y-you l-like b-but I-it's a-all I - I h-have. S-sorry." she stutters sheepishly. I smile a softly as I stand walking over to her when I place a hand on her shoulder I have to push away a chuckle as she jumps startled.

"No, no it's not that I don't like them because I love them. They're amazing. I was just wondering because I've never seen them any where before." I tell her honestly and it seems to cause her to blush more, gosh she's cute when she blushes. Wait.. I really do love Mari don't I? I mean I always have had a crush on Marinette but because I loved Ladybug so I never acted on it or even thought much about it. Since they're the same person that means I love both sides of her.

"Oh... Well I'm glad you like it." she smiles before turning around and passing me a plate with breakfast on it, I nod in thanks before eating it.

"Go Marinette!" I hear Tikki cheer gleefully as she hugs Mari's cheek then Mari giggles and places a kiss on her head. "See I've been telling you, you can do it."

"I know and Thank you Tikki."

"Sorry but what are you going on about?" Plagg and I ask together then look at each other wiredly. The girls giggle at us but then Mari blushes again before looking at Tikki, who smiles at her with encouragement.

"Well Tikki and Alya have been encouraging me for a while now to talk to you..." Mari says quietly looking everywhere but at me as I'm about to ask why she needs encouragement to talk to me, is she scared of me?, she continues "... Well the reason for that is because I-I've had a crush on you ever since you gave me the umbrella." she rushes out while facing away from me. Really?!

"Really?.." she nods "..Well that's great. I've had a crush on you and Ladybug since then as well, just Ladybug was first. I've always assumed you were scared of me." I tell her as I place my hands once again on her shoulders and spin her to face me. We stare at each other for a long while before Plagg knocks a pan over causing us to jump apart.

"Are we ready to go?" Mari asks picking up the pan. We all nod. "Good. Let's go."

(Time skip)

We arrived at Master Fu's, it's the same as what I remember from when Mari last brought me. Mari knocks on the door which opens revealing an elderly man.

"Marinette!" the man cheers upon seeing her "It's so good to see you again. Oh and look at that our little problem is fixed." he says upon seeing me.

"It seems to be ... However would it be possible if you could just make sure they're both fine and not going change back?" she asks with a small smile.

"Of course... This way." he motions for me to follow him with Plagg, we do so. I'm scared.

I stand still as he paces round me in silence, awkward. I hear Master Fu hum and mutter to himself. I glance at Mari pleading for help but all she does is smile and wave her fingers at me. She's enjoying this way too much.

"They are both perfectly fine. They will not turn back however just keep an eye on this one. Things may have changed." Master Fu tells Marinette while pointing at me. Mari nods then thanks him for his help. Together the four of us walk back to Marinette's house.
