Chara X Reader - You against the World.

A Sky Full Of Stars

⠀ ⠀ To your surprise and Chara's, you had decided to befriend the one had destroyed everything. Not the smartest choice on your part but you felt pityー no, not pity. Sympathy? For the child.

⠀ ⠀ In the empty void, the two of you used each for entertainment to pass the eternity away. In fact, Chara seemed to give off the most light, their glowing eyes enticing you every time you locked your sight on them.

⠀ ⠀ It must've been at least a few days before they got a brilliant idea. As if to their will, your soul came floating out of your chest and illuminating the room. "Why don't you try to make something here? Your determination is sure to at least create while mine... destroys."

⠀ ⠀ A brief moment of silence cursed the area before you shrugged and held your soul in your palms. It began to glow and you clenched your teeth, straining to imagine what you'd like to fill this place with. Before you could feel your lungs release and gasp for breath, the entire void was transformed into a wasteland of stars.

⠀ ⠀ It seemed like such a waste that all that effort only produced these small orbs that shone but the nostalgic scene gave you a sense of relief, your palms cupping one of the 'stars'.

⠀ ⠀ They didn't burn nor did they move without another force acting upon them. They were almost as stunning as Chara was in that moment. Their eyes were wide as they stared down the surrounding scene with both childlike wonder and enthusiasm.

⠀ ⠀ "Y-You.. You did this!" Like Peter Pan, they dashed upward to grab a light and cradle it in their hands. For a moment, the crimson eyes flickered to a chocolate brown before the expression faded and so did the normal colour. "I should've expected that from a soul as powerful as yours."

⠀ ⠀ You couldn't pinpoint it but you could felt the emotion in their voice. They choked back the words before throwing the star gently back up and floating up to you. "What else can you make?"
