The Doctor when Sarah got home from work was a fluffy, clingy, and angry. He was curled up in a ball on their bed, his desk covered in wires and six panels from the TARDIS.

"Hon? You alright ?" Sarah asked setting her stuff down and climbing with him onto the bed. The Doctor simply groaned and burrowed further into her pillow. She held back a giggle and rubbed his back gently the way he liked trying to pry her timelord out of his protective ball of rage.

"No...I want to punch everything. I hate this stupid machine." He grumbled looking up at her still angry and pouting. Sarah laid down trying to find his face pressed into his pillow and covered in curls. She gave up after a few second and instead ran fingers through his curls.

"Oh, is the old girl being mean again? I thought you had pictures of the panels and how they were supposed to look." She said gently.

"I did until a stupid tin brat deleted them without my permission, and now the old girl is jealous and won't work with me." He whined laying on her lap. Sarah tilted her head to the side, confused.

"Jealous? Of what?" She asked playing with his hair twisting ringlets around her fingers.

"Us I think. It was just us for a while and I think she misses it." He said with a sigh.

"It's a machine Doctor...isn't the TARDIS just a machine?" Sarah asked looking around trying to decide whether he had lost his mind or not. Machines didn't get jealous it was impossible...wasn't it.

"No! She is not just a machine! She has feelings and personality too!" The Doctor said back angrily pointing his finger at her. Sarah raised an eyebrow not impressed and folded her arms.

"So now you like her more than me? Hmm?" Sarah asked getting a bit irritated by the whole thing, "you know it isn't polite to be in a relationship with one and be fucking the other on the side Doctor." Sarah scolded. The Doctor's hand went to his forehead as now Sarah could hear the machine whirling angrily at him.

"Give me a night I'll fix her." The Doctor said getting up to grab the panels and his tools spread around their room.

"Oh spending the night with her now are we? Perhaps a nice date will settle things between you two. I'll see you tomorrow and I promise not to bother the processor rooms and such." Sarah said with a smirk watching him glare at her and sulk out of the room to fix his ship that was yelling at him telepathically.

The next morning Sarah woke up and walked to the kitchen making herself a nice cup of tea and noticed the normal quiet functioning of the ship had gone back to normal. Everything had been washed and put away correctly and fresh fruit had been placed out on the table. Sarah smiled sipping her tea which had been prepared perfectly and decided to peek at the Alien and his Ship.

She tiptoed quietly down the stairs to the internals of the machine and found The Doctor asleep, covered in various burn marks and grease, in between two central particle accelerators with a small smile on his face. Sarah smiled and grabbed a spare rag and began to wipe the oil and dirt off of his face.

"Mmm, I feel so sore." He mumbled opening his eyes and finding himself wedged between two sections of his faithful machine.

"Everything go well I suppose then. You two made up?" Sarah asked holding back a snarky comment.

"Yes she's happy now, her internal levels were off but I was able to fix it for her. Now she's a girl today." He said stroking the yellow coral like sides holding the accelerators in place.

"Okay well, get cleaned up and I'll make you breakfast even though you cheated mister!" Sarah playfully scolded heading back upstairs to the kitchen table.

The Doctor stood up slowly and chuckled looking at the burns and marks covering his body.

"You really are a naughty, naughty machine aren't you? You want everyone to see what you own don't you." The Doctor teased quietly kissing the coral structures around him. The TARDIS hummed back happy and content with her pilot and his work with her.

"Did you pot  the little one? Where did you put her old girl?" He asked glancing around him finding the floor to be void of what he was looking for. The old machine sang him the answer and he turned to the corner of the room and smiled picking up the small pot with a tiny piece of coral glowing softly with time energy.  He pet it softly and carried it under his arm.

"This would have never happened if you weren't a pervert and soaked up fluids you weren't supposed to. If I find next time that our sheets are clean the next morning I will put the plastic back on your spores." The Doctor scolded pointing a finger at her.

"I can't have you reproducing all the time like this...no it's not Sarah it's the simple fact that you get cranky and mean everytime it happens....and yes it shouldn't happen every year or so," the Doctor finished turning off the lights and walking up the stairs carrying the cause of the whole fiasco, a baby TARDIS.
