Six years have passed
I hate how whenever I go to school I always end up getting hungry in the middle of 2nd period, and then my stomach starts to make loud noises. I mean can't it just shut up for another 50 minutes then I can go fill it up with food! Anywho, I was stuck in English class, with my annoying stomach, waiting for the teacher to stop talking so I could start on my 50th essay (I never knew 10th grade could make you write so many essays). When class ended I ran out of that prison straight to the cafeteria for lunch. As I was running I ran into someone tall and warm, he caught me and with a soft, deep, and gently voice he whispered, "Are you okay?"
I had my face buried in his chest and quickly recognize his voice... Arkin! I stood up face to face with him...Even though my head only reached barely to his solder... And and replied,
" Yeah, thanks Arkin." He gave me a sly smile and I knew what he was going to say next. That nickname that he created just after a month I meet him...
"My pleasure, my Queen." He replied.
"You're never going to let that nickname go are you?" I asked knowing the the answer.
"Nope never. And your never going to call me King are you?" Arkin replied as he waved his hand see you later as he walked to his next class.
I called out, "Never ever!" And I heard a small chuckle coming from him.
'At least it's better than Peasant.' I thought walking the rest of the way to lunch.

As I was eating lunch with some other friends I re-called the memory of Arkin giving me the nickname Queen.Back when I first moved to Florida Arkin and I were only acquaintances, but when he finally asked me for my name I froze.
"My name?" I asked shakily.
He rose a eyebrow, "Yeah your name... My name is Arkin."
I stood there. Still not moving. I remember forgetting my name and trying to remember it.
He asked again, "What's your name?" This time walking closer to me.
"M-my name is T-Tana." I said quickly.
He smiled, "Tana? That's a nice name."
I tried to reply the smooths way possible but it ended up like this, "Thanks yours is nice too. I mean not like it wasn't nice before. And your nice too. Like even though we just introduced ourselves you seem nice. I mean it's not like you didn't seem nice before and-"
He placed a hand on my shoulder, his touch causing me to stop.
"Sorry" I finally, breathed out.
"Hey don't worry Tana I know what you mean." He laughed.
And I didn't even realize I was blushing at the time! Man I needed to get my little awkward butt out of there, but I'm glad I didn't because day by day we became closer and closer.
By the time school was about to start he asked me, "Are you excited to go to school? It's going to be your first year in Florida Elementary School!" (We were going into the 5th grade.) I moved my head 'no'.
"Why?" He asked.
I was hesitant to tell him, but for some reason I felt safe around him. So I told him, "It's because at my old school nobody liked me and I didn't know why. One day they came up with a nickname and it was... Peasant. And not only they would call me that they would also treat me like one." After I finished I remember clearly that I was tearing up sniffling to stop.
I soon felt Arkin's arms wrapped around me hugging me with reinsurance.
He said softly, "Tana, it's okay. No one in this school will make fun of you or call you that horrible nickname. I will protect you so you won't get hurt. Okay?"
I looked up at him. My eyes a little red and swollen from crying and spoke with a quite voice, " Okay thank you Arkin... But you don't have to do that." I gave him a small smile.
"No Tana I want to do this. I want to protect you." He replied.
"Okay... If you want to...thank you." I laughed a little and so did he.
We sat in silence for a few minutes on the roof of my house while he still had his arms wrapped around me. Arkin broke the silence, "Tana I just thought of something!"
"And what's that?" I asked.
He explained, "Well I thought to get that old nickname out of your head I was thinking of a new nickname that I could maybe call you." He smiled with wide eyes.
"Okay umm... What's the nickname?" I asked with curiosity in my voice.
He replied, "it's Queen."
I looked at him with no emotions.
"Do you not like it?" He asked.
I giggled, "No I love it. It's just that I never had a nice nickname like that. It's the total opposite from Peasant." I gave him a giant smile and hugged him.
He laughed, " I'm glad you did, my Queen."
I laughed, "It's going to take time to get used to though."
He agreed, "Yeah, does this mean you will call me King?"
I asked, "Your kidding right?"
"Nope," he replied.
"I your dreams." I sighed.
" I'm guessing that's a no?" He asked.
"Bingo!" I replied.
"We'll see, my Queen." He said with a sly smile.

And that is how Arkin gave me my new nickname! I love it a lot. It makes my feel like I'm special in a way no one has ever done before. Also, I'm never calling him King he can dream all he wants, but it's never going to happen.Hope you loved the 2nd chapter! I worked hard! And sorry for the late update. I will update again next Sunday... Or I will try.
