Hello everyone. It has been several months since i have posted anything on here. Took a break because a few emotional things took hold and i needed a break. This is final part to this book :/ But do not worry, the second book will be right behind it and hopefully will be better than ever. I would like to thank my mate (Alex) for supporting me throughout the entire process and reading my book whenever he got the chance or felt lonely. Ch 29: Operation Retrograde
Beatrix: It only took a few short minutes to reach the survey room and as soon as we entered, Aero looked up with that look of both shock and disappointment. He was disappointed that we hadnt kept up with Troy. Aero knew that if he had revealed too much before Troy was ready, he could have altered the timeline to a worse future.
Tron: Aero was a smart and graceful as ever. I could tell that he hadnt really said anything to Troy and that was a good thing.
Aero: I may have been relieved to see Troy, but his presence was dangerous. The longer him and Bane were in our time, the more likely the time continuum would be thrown off. "Tron, Beatrix... you should know better than to mess with time." I was disappointed in them, but i knew why they had to do it.
Tron: Both Beatrix and myself looked down and whimpered a little
Troy: Aero was being hard on those two. I may not understand too much about what was going on but I did understand that they could have caused damage to history. That was enough for me to validate what Aero had said. I looked at Aero and said, "So it looks like you are alive. I am glad to see that." It was still hard to believe that my pack would be wiped out. I needed to ask. "Aero... Why was our pack targeted and wiped out? What did we do?"
Future Aero: I could see that this question weighed heavy on Troy. I closed my eyes and came up with an answer to his question. I would tell him a majority of the truth. "Troy... as you know, the evil being Xyzyx comes to our world and sought to harness the resources. Our packed attempted to stop him.... He killed most of everyone.... You, Bane, and myself fought the longest..." I looked at Tron and Beatrix... His kids.... I couldnt reveal anything about them yet. "Bane died protecting you... When he died, you lost your will to fight and your power. They killed you next and with your power just before you died, sent me away... It took me awhile to form up this alliance and with the help of y....." I had almost just spilled the beans. And I knew that Troy was smart.
Tron: Well that was close..... Damn it Aero.
Troy: Again with people stuttering around me. They were hiding something and I needed to find out what it was or else i was going to go insane. I may have to trick them somehow into telling me what they were hiding.
Future Aero: After a little bit of composure, I continued, "... with the help of Beatrix and Tron, we have successfully created a resistance that continually disrupts Xyzyx. We are on the cusp of initiating our counterattack: Operation Retrograde. The basis of this attack would be to reverse the damage that he has caused. The key to that is you and Bane."
Troy: I knew what retrograde meant and i was scared to find out that myself and Bane were the key to it. They wanted us to reverse the damage that had occurred, but this was the future. Who knew the repercussions that befall us here. Bane and myself do not exist in this time. Would we still have our abilities? Who knows. I was an ancient in the past and they killed me there. If i am simply normal now, what could they do to me here?
