Chapter 21: "Yes"

And so Ezra, Sabine, Zeb, and Chopper waited outside Heras room.

They wondered how Kanan would do with his "rock"

Little did Kanan know, there was a holo recorder inside the room recording it all.

Kanan stepped up to Hera.

"H...hi Hera.." Kanan said, stuttering.

Hera was sorting through documents on new missions.

"Hey Kanan!" She said, smiling.

"So...so I was just wondering if uhh..." Kanan said, muttering and reaching into his pocket for the box.

"Yes dear?" Hera said, looking at him.

Kanan pulled out the box.

Hera stopped and stared.

Kanan got down on his knee and opened the box to reveal...the *ring*.

"Hera Syndulla, will you marry me?" Kanan said, bravely.

Hera didn't know what to say.

Kanan was holding a rock.

A rock.

She started laughing.

"Oh no...she doesn't wanna marry me...my life is over" Kanan was heartbroken.

Hera finally contained herself.

"N-no it's not that I just-" Kanan cut her off.

"Oh no I was speaking aloud?!" Kanan was mortified.

"It's fine but...my answer is yes." Hera said, smiling.

"Y-you mean-" Kanan started.

"Yes, Kanan Jarrus, I will marry you." Hera said, blushing.

Kanan pulled Hera close, and they began to kiss..

YES YES YES YES YES OMG IM GONNA BE BEST LASSAT (Zeb said)

IM MAID OF HONOR (said Sabine)

ILL CARRY THE RINGS USING THE FORCE (Ezra cheered)

Chopper beeped happily.

"And how long were you guys listening?" Hera said, smiling.

"Since he entered the room." Zeb stated.

"Zeb!" Sabine and Ezra elbowed him.

Chopper beeped in agreement.

"Oh and it's being recorded too." Zeb said, smirking.

"Oh karabast" Kanan said, blushing and rubbing his neck.

Everyone started laughing.

"So anyway" Sabine started "When's the wedding?"

Kanan and Hera looked at eachother.

"Tomorrow." They said together.

"Tomorrow?!" Everyone else said at once.

"Oh wow tomorrow is only 13 hours away isn't it?" Hera said.

Karabast.

And everyone began talking at once.

"I'll go start searching for a dress!" Hera said

"I'll go start getting ingredients to make the food!" Sabine said, excited.

"I'll go with Kanan to get a suit!" Zeb said, walking toward Kanan.

"I'll go get an actual ring" Ezra said, laughing.

"Wait what?" Kanan asked, worried.

They all started laughing again.

"Don't worry about it, I'll take care of it." Ezra said, laughing.

Hera looked at Sabine.

"After you get the food can you meet me at the seamstress? You need a bridesmaid dress!" Hera said, excited.

"Sure thing!" Sabine said, joyfully.

"I'll meet you guys at the suit shop after I get a ring." Ezra said to Zeb and Kanan.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go! Kanan said, walking out of the room.

Everyone scattered about, but before Ezra and Sabine left..

They walked up to eachother and hugged.

"I hope someday we can be planning our wedding." Ezra said, holding Sabine close.

"As do I....but Ezra, promise me one thing?" Sabine asked, smiling.

"Yes my love?" Ezra asked.

"Promise me you'll give me an actual ring." She said, laughing.

Ezra laughed and hugged her tighter.

As they walked off in their own separate directions to go get what they needed, they looked back and both spoke.

"I love you Ezra Bridger."

"I love you Sabine Wren."

Eeeek!!! I was so fangirling writing this!!!! I would die if we actually got a kanera wedding! Just eeeeek!!
