Chapter 34: Iron Hard Rescue

It was all in motion.

Mart was all dressed and ready to go. Sabine had removed her armor for once and wore just basic clothing (they didn't want the Empire to be suspicious)

"Let's go" she said, as Hera fastened her binders.

Mart meanwhile just stared "THIS is a super star destroyer?!" He asked in amazement.

"....this is a small prison transport....." Sabine said, wondering why they were letting him in on this.

"YOU MEAN SUPER STAR DESTROYERS ARE BIGGER?!" Mart asked amazed

"MART GO SAVE EZRA!" Commander Sato yelled through the comm.

They boarded the ship.

Sabines heart dropped when she saw Ezra standing by Thrawn.

His face had cuts on it, and she knew he would have multiple scars now.

He had cut lip and a black eye, but even beyond the injuries, when he looked at Sabine, his eyes sparkled.

Tears ran down Sabines face. She couldn't stand to see her blueberry like this.

Thrawn had a cruel heartless grin on his face as Sabine went closer.

"Well now Wren. You came. You'll be pleased to know we didn't kill him....although I was quite tempted." Thrawn explained and laughed cruelly.

"Just please let him go." Sabine said, helplessly.

"These explosives better work" she thought to herself.

Thrawn hit Ezra's back making him fall. "Get up and start walking!" He shouted at him.

Ezra was on the ground panting and he couldn't get up. He slowly crawled toward Sabine and Mart.

"S-Sabine." He choked out "Y-you can't trade yourself I-I love you....I can't live without you" he said, crying.

"Don't worry." Sabine said, with a broken smile on her face. "I'll still make the wedding."

"H...how?" Ezra asked, puzzled.

"MART NOW!" Sabine screamed, tackling Ezra to push him out of the way.

Mart grabbed the detonator and blew up most of the hanger, making a distraction.

Zeb came out from hiding and began shooting.

Kanan also deflected blasts with his lightsaber.

Chopper came and took Sabines binders off.

Sabin grabbed Ezra and ran.

Thrawn immediately had reinforcements coming, but the Rebels were quicker.

Before they knew it, they were on the ship, and in hyperspace.

Sabine turned to Ezra and looked at him.

He was broken.

She had never seen him look so hurt.

She took the binders off.

(A/N I'm getting teary eyed writing this right now)

Before she had a chance to say anything Ezra pulled her into a strong hug.

"Don't you ever worry me like that again Sabine." He said, starting to cry.

"I was so worried I lost you Ezra. Even if we didn't have a plan I would've traded myself for you in a heartbeat." Sabine replied, also crying.

"My biggest fear was losing you. That's all I worried about when I was trapped." Ezra explained, sobbing.

Sabine had seen Ezra cry, but this time she could actually see his broken face.

"I was just concerned about you." Sabine tried to say, but was crying so it was muffled.

"That makes both of us then. I love you so much Sabine." Ezra said, hugging her as tight as he could.

"I love you too Ezra." Sabine said, looking into his eyes.

Neither of them said another word, and they kissed.

Mart who was still standing there awkwardly naked (LMAO THIS AUTOCORRECTED SO I KEPT IT IN BUT THE ACTUAL WORD IS SUPPOSED TO BE WALKED) away.

Neither Sabine nor Ezra noticed him.
