Chapger 28: "What about the future?"

Ezra had lost his arm.

He was trying hard not to break down.

His other arm, still was healing as well, from the lightsaber cut, as well as his side.

Sabine had a question though.

What about the future?

When they had gone into the future they hadn't seen Ezra without an arm.

Why?

The future is supposed to account for everything. They had kids-were married-everything was fine so, why had Ezra lost his arm?

Perhaps Kanan could explain.

Sabine refused to leave Ezra's side, and so Zeb went to get Kanan.

Kanan walked in, and was sad to hear Ezra had lost his arm.

"Kanan-the future we saw a few years ago-Ezra still had his arm then. Why didn't the future show that he would be losing it?" Sabine asked, confused.

"That's a good point.....unless..." Kanan stopped, thinking.

"Unless what?" Ezra asked, weakly.

"I'll be right back. I have to talk to the medical droid." Kanan said, running out of the room.

"What do you think that was all about?" Sabine asked Ezra, puzzled.

"I'm not sure. You can never tell with Kanan." Ezra said, also confused.

Sabine laughed and hugged him again.

Ezra remembered something, and suddenly slightly panicked.

Sabine noticed this.

"What? What's wrong Ezra?" Sabine asked, concerned.

He couldn't let Sabine know what he was thinking, and she was still force sensitive-she could sense it if she tried.

He regained himself. He then tried to talk his way out of it.

"I...just....um....can you get Hera please? Thanks" he said, blushing and trying to hide it.

"A-Alright...." Sabine said, eying him suspiciously. She then left the room, and went to get Hera.

Kanan was still in another room talking to the medic droid, so Sabine didn't bother him. She just went straight to Hera.

"Hera. Can you come see Ezra? He seems kinda frantic, and asked for you." Sabine said, rather rushed.

"Yes of course." Hera said, standing up from her pilots chair. "Lead the way." Hera followed Sabine to the medic bay.

"I'll wait out here." Sabine said, opening the door for Hera.

Hera nodded and went in to see Ezra.

"Hera. Can you come closer? There's something...important you should know." Ezra said, hesitating a bit at the end.

"Y-Yes?" Hera asked, a little concerned.

"Well I-" Ezra started, but was cut off by Kanan rushing into the room.

"E-E-Ezra!" Kanan tried to say, out of breath.

"Kanan what is it?" Ezra asked, ever so slightly alarmed.

"Dear? Is everything okay?" Hera asked, putting her hand on Kanans shoulder.

"I spoke with the medic droid....remember how Sabine is a force healer?" Kanan stated more than asked.

"Yes...what about her?" Ezra asked, worried something might be wrong with Sabine.

"The droid can give you a mechanic arm-and Sabine-she can heal you and the mechanic arm-it can end up looking real." Kanan said rushed, and out of breath.

"So you mean it would be like having a normal arm?" Ezra asked, happy and confused.

"Yes. Isn't that amazing?" Kanan asked, smiling.

"Yes-that's awesome." Ezra said, excited.

But then his expression changed when he remembered what he was trying to say to Hera, before Kanan had interrupted.

"S...so about what I was saying before...." Ezra started, awkwardly.

"Yes....?" Kanan and Hera asked simultaneously.

"Tomorrow is Sabines birthday isn't it?" Ezra asked.

"Why-yes it is." Hera said, smiling, confused. "How come?"

BOOM! I'm awesome I know 😎 AND I LEFT YOU AT A CLIFFHANGER MWAHAHAHA

No. I'm not that evil. Here's the ending.

Ahem.

NO IM KIDDING AGAIN I AM NOT THAT EVIL (I mean I am, but I had to write this now)

HERE is the actual ending for this chapter.

"Why-yes it is." Hera said, smiling, confused.
"How come?"

"Because I'm going to propose to her." Ezra said, proudly.

Kanan and Heras' mouths dropped open.

"I'll need your help." Ezra stated.

"W-well then. Help we will." Kanan said, and sat down on Ezra's bed.

BOOM. Now that's a cool ending if I do say so myself (I seriously squealed.) So yes we are getting that Sabezra wedding finally!!!  I will do the SpaceBalls wedding though 😂😂😂  also I'm going to be writing the story that I mentioned in my "about me" journal. When I write it though I will ONLY be writing that every time I get inspired. It won't be updated as much as this one, because this story is fan fiction and fun. The story I was working on awhile back is totally serious and that'll take longer to write, as well as being WAY longer than any of my chapters for this story. So please, when I write the other story be extra patient! I luv you all so much and I'm so grateful for all my followers and reads! I'm also super grateful for everyone who adds this story to a reading list (even if you don't follow me)
