I watch irritated as Romeo runs around the house like a headless chicken,I'd be laughing if I wasn't in so much pain. I'm 34 weeks pregnant,had a ceasarian section scheduled in two weeks time but the triplets decided to get here than wait a full 36 weeks.
My doctor has scheduled as I'm a high risk pregnacy,well multiple pregnancy is considered high risk.Right now the pain is unbearable,since I told Romeo I was in labour he's been running around searching for the Lord knows what.
"Romeo I don't have time for your childish behaviour,it's midnight and I'm in pain!"
"I'm looking for my keys Angie,I'm not being childish"
"You have your keys in your hand you idiot!"
I scream through gritted teeth as I feel another contraction. My water has not broken yet but the pain is so unbearable. Romeo walks out leaving me behind as I slowly walk to the car as I get hit by another one. Why the fuck did Eve have to eat that damn apple!
"Oh baby sorry I forgot about you...here let me carry you"
"Nah I'm good just wait in the car"
He goes back into the car after locking the front door. I pick up my pace as the contraction stops and I'm in the backseat before the next one hits. He drives off first fetching mama Rose. I can't do this without her. Times like this I wish my own mother was alive.
"Baby we're here,do you think you can walk"
"No"
We're at the hospital,I shuffle to the door putting my feet on the hospital pavement. I'm hit by another contraction as I stand up. Romeo quickly lifts me up bridal style when my water suddenly rains on his clothes and shoes. I must remember to laugh at him later.
"Angie,hope you didn't pee on me"
"It's my water you idiot"
"You got to stop calling me named, I know you're in pain but.."
"Just shut the fuck up Romeo and put on that damn wheelchair"
My gynaecologist comes over to us rushing. She came as soon as the nurse informed her of my arrival. I called her before we left the house to let her know. I started going to her for consultations as soon I returned from captivity.
She's been my doctor since my first pregnancy and was excited as me when she found out I was pregnant again and with triplets. Right now I'm hooked up to the fetal heart rate monitor and she's happy that all babies seem well.
"I'm happy with the baby's progress so far,I think it's safe for us to deliver naturally. You'll be fully dilated in an hour's time, ready for your miracle babies mommy?"
"Ready as I'll ever be"
I have a firm grip on Romeos hand. I smile at him happy to see him next to him. It's lovely to see him still here after all the abuse and name calling he's been subjected to since midnight.I'm sweating like a pig as he continously wipes my face with a cold rag. The contractions are coming fast this is the longest hour of my life. I swear I'm never having anymore sex or children.

I don't know whose triplets are these but she's one lucky mommy. I'm bad at giving babies names. I didn't even name my own twins. Sorry. Yes I have twins boy and girl but they're 9 now.😋
