Dear love,
Hi! I wrote a poem for you last night. Do you wanna hear it? Or read it, rather? Either way, I know you won't read it. But I just wanna write it down, in case you'll read it.
By the way, I wrote this up not to burden you but to tell you how I feel.
So, here it goes:
And tonight
as I lie down on my bed
with tear-shed face,
and swollen eyes
I think if you and our memories,
good and bad.
Broken promises
pain long-endured
I'm slowly letting go.
and as I drift away,
darkness succumbing me.
I saw a face,
a face with a smile.
a smile that's full of bitterness,
emptiness
And I know something inside her died.
together with the hopes and dreams
built together.
The faith and love,
were shattered,
scattered into pieces.
and she knew something died inside her, too.
Love,
TheiaP.S
So, how was it? Did you love it? I hope you do. And I hope you're not sad or crying because of this. It's not your fault, remember? Be happy my little sunshine.
