It was 8:00am and even though the hangover was hard, it was time to get ready for the town party later this evening.

Caroline slipped off her clothes and ran a shower. She cupped her hand to her mouth as if to hide her laughing when she heard Klaus' music on the other side of the wall. He too, must've been having a shower.

'Splish splash I was taking a bath, all on a Saturday night.'

Caroline pursed her lips and turned her own music on. The shampoo smelt amazing, strawberry Alberto Balsam. After the shower, Caroline knocked on Klaus' door wearing only her pink fluffy towel.

"Which one should I wear?" Caroline asked, showing him two different dresses. One was silk black, with holes in the side showing her back; and the other was sparkly red with gems around the waist and collar.

"Hard to say, you'd look gorgeous in both, love." Klaus smirked. Caroline blushed. She was grateful for their ever growing relationship with one another. His smile toward her was genuine. He felt sick when thinking of his previous plans with this angel stood before him.

"Very helpful." She said, breaking the sexual tension.

"The red one." Kol smirked as he stood in the door way. Caroline shook her head and rushed off to her room, rather embarrassed her confidence knocked with an unwanted original.

Kol winked at Klaus and vanished before he could grab his throat for the interference. Hours had passed with breakfast gone by, squabbling, games and TV watching.

Klaus wasn't impressed by the house full of unwanted guests and bickering drunks, but he wanted to spend time with Caroline never the less, and was looking forward to taking charge of Katherine Pierce, or Caroline... For a day.

"Let's go, it's almost six and it will take about 45 minutes to get there and back." Klaus moaned, as he stood in the door way near the kitchen. Caroline mouthed okay to him as she said goodbye to Bonnie as her and Elena were still on bad terms. Elena glanced at her friends as she sat on the side eating an old ear Damon grabbed for her, as Caroline left the building.

Klaus took Caroline to his favourite Chinese restaurant. He loved how the waitresses there tasted. But knew he'd have to be on his best behaviour as Caroline was thrilled. He knew that she liked Chinese when she was human. So he'd try a meal for her. Human food wasn't his favourite, but he dealt with it. Whilst Caroline was amazing at keeping her appetite for the mortal world.

"I love Chinese." She smirked. He smirked back, because he knew. He rolled his eyes at what a stalker he was, and probably still would be. A waitress took their order, Klaus managed to withdrawal his eyes from her neck and to get the food at no charge for being a loyal customer. Caroline furrowed her brows.

"They all know me here, this is my home town. I'll get whatever I want, and you, you can have what you want." Klaus winked.

Though, his smile suddenly disappeared as two individuals he used to know walked through the big patio doors.

"Who's that?" Caroline asked, as they strutted towards them, both smirking and very relaxed for someone trying to intimidate Klaus Mikaelson.

"Don't say anything, love. I'll handle this." Klaus whispered, as they approached the table. He clutched his fists together as his date with Caroline was turning to shit. Just like his weekend away overall. Could it get any worse.

"Klaus, what a pleasant surprise." The man said with a smile as he got comfortable.

His skin was a glowing complexion of Filipino and African American, smile brighter than a thousand stars. This man was the one and only Marcel Gerard. An old friend, a somewhat son to Klaus.
