A month later

Well, It looks like my secret was out.

The trouble is, I was confused about what exactly my secret was.

It can't be that I'm gay, because I'm not sure if i am.

No matter what I am, I'm in trouble.

I leaned against the tree stump, trying to make Tom's harsh words in my ear translate into silence.

"You know what we're gonna do? We're gonna tell the whole school!"

"OH! congratu-fucking-lations on finding me out, and, gasp, you're gonna tell people! whatever will I do!" I stood up, but Tom and Max grabbed my arms. Damn jocks.

"You're scared aren't you?!" Max sneered as I was pinned down to the grass.

"You wish."

I spit at them, and as they flinched back, I quickly held Tom in place with my foot, barely, from his struggling body.

With that action, I punched Max, twice, as hard as i could muster, and he passed out in pain for long enough.

I barely had time, but I pinned Tom down, bringing my face close to his.

"You call me a faggot 'cause you want me to be a faggot." I smirked.

"Oh HELL no!" He struggled, grunting.

"Yea? Liar. Why don't you just leave me the fuck alone, shithead?" I got closer, trying to muster a facial expression of lust. Oh god why.

" 'Cau-Cause you're a filthy, faggot!"

"Go back to the first grade. You're scared of ME."

I let him go, standing up.

"No, i-I'm not!"

"Shut up, quit stuttering, or I'll make you stutter. You stay away from me, and Gerard or It will be a LOT worse than this."

Then I left, as calmly as I could, and waited till I was out of their eyeshot before breaking into a run to Gerards house.

I was friendly enough with his parents (little did they know I was more than friends with Gerard,) to come right in, and that's what I did.

I walked in on Gerard and Lindsey on his living room floor, Lindsey flipping through channels on the TV, coaxing Gerard who was laying on the floor, and he appeared to be a wreck.

Though when I walked in he looked up, and ran, tripping over his feet, to me.

His arms were around me quicker than I could say his name, and I was holding him, stroking his hair.

"I-I was so worried about you..."

Lindsey stood up.

"I think I'm gonna go. Are you okay Frank?"

"Yea."

"Lindsey! Thank you..." He turned around and hugged her, and she looked surprised but smiled.

She left and that gave Gerard the chance to examine me.

"Gerard. I'm fine."

"What happened?"

"I showed them a lesson, and you don't need to worry about me. I don't want you to."

I grabbed his hands that were touching my small cuts and rough-ups, and I kissed his soft lips gently.

I wasn't used to people caring about me, and i know I shouldn't get used to it.
