things are not how they were four months ago
when the breeze was warm
and the sun was bright
things are not how they were four weeks ago
when the guy you liked texted you to make sure you were okay
and he would send you funny pictures to brighten your day
shit
things are not like they were four days ago
because things change
and so do people
but that's quite alright
because you're wise enough to know
that even though some things change for the worse, there will always be some for the better.
