what if I can't forget you?

My alarm went off at 7 in the morning. Ugh I don't want to get up but I have my appointment today to find out the sex of my little bean. I sat up and smiled rubbing my stomach. It was way big, but it is expected since I am five months pregnant. It's two weeks until Halloween. The metal moms photo shoot got pushed back to tomorow, and our record label wants us to record a song for the new punk goes pop album, apart from recording our own album. We've got three songs down and only need six or seven more to go.

I willed myself to get out of bed and shower. I threw on some yoga pants, a tank top, and a thin knit sweater since it was slightly chilly outside and I put some grey toms on.  I put on some mascara and red lipstick, and straightened my hair. Afterwards I went to go make Jude his bottle to feed him and get him ready to drop off at mama Fuentes'. She's been taking care of him while we're in the studio.

After feeding Jude I changed him and let him crawl around on the floor. He already has most of his teeth. It's so crazy how he's been growing so fast.

I crept into blaize's room and jumped on her bed.

“wakey wakey eggs and bakey!"

“what the fuck you bitch!"

“come on get ready, I have a doctors appointment and we have to go to the studio afterwards."

“ugghggh I don't want to." blaize whined.

“come on, we get to find out little beans sex today."

“shit, seriously?!" she grinned and jumped out of bed.

“yes,  now hurry, we still need to drop Jude off." I said as I exited her room and went downstairs to eat some cereal.

After a few minutes she was finally ready and we drove to the doctors in my truck. Upon arriving blaize got Jude out of the back of the car. He was babbling the whole way into the office.

I walked to the secretaries window and tapped on it.

“Hi, I'm Jade Preciado, I have an appointment with Dr. Kim for 8:45."

The secretary nodded, had me sign in, and the wait to be called in.

“ms. Jade Preciado?" a nurse called making Blaize and I jump to our feet.

We followed the nurse to a room.

“please lay on the bed and pull your shirt up to underneath your breasts." she instructed after taking my blood pressure, weight, and temperature.

“okay."

A few minutes later the Dr. Came in and immediately got down to business. She squeezed some of the really cold gel onto my stomach and began waving the sonogram wand around in my stomach.

“okay, there's the head." she pointed to the grainy screen. “there's the left arm, and there's the left leg, would you like to know the sex of your baby?"

“yes." I whispered, barely audible, I was so nervous. She waved the wand around a bit more.

“okay, there we go, it looks like you're having a baby boy, mow let's listen to the heartbeat."

Blaize and I were both in tears, I was going to have a baby boy. What if he looked a lot like Austin? I couldn't help but think of what he would look like the entire time we spent at the doctors.

“so, you're having a boy, any names?" blaize asked as we climbed into my car.

“well I really like Salem, as well as Nicholas, I should probably call the guys and tell them, they're going to be so excited."
