Being Mean

***Liam ***
I woke up this morning feeling really happy . I don't know but I just felt happy. I did my morning stuff and headed to work .
When I got to work . I went inside and Candy was already there .
"Well look who is early ".
"Morning ".
"Morning ".

"Well you have a lot of things to do today ".
"Okay ".
"So you have a lot of meetings this morning then after they are some contracts you need to sign and then you have more meetings in the afternoon and I great news ".
"What is it ?".
"You don't have that much work to complete "

"That's not really great news ".
"Liam ".
I laughed and then said "Okay ".
"Bye ".
"Bye ".

It was my lunch break and I was using that time to do some of the work that I left last night. 
I heard a knock on my door and I said "Come in ".
The person came in and I saw it was Liz .
"What do you want ".
"I want to show you the draft ".
"Don't show me anything cause I know I won't like it " .

"Can you please just look at it ".
I let out a sigh and stopped the work I was doing looked at it .
I had to admit that I liked it. 
"It looks okay ".
"Thank you ". She said in relief
"So what to do now " .

"Show me a next draft for the other room ".
"Sure ".
Before she left she said "I'm sorry ".
I stopped doing my  work and let out a groan .
After I was half way through my work , my intercom spoke and Candy said" Liam , your next meeting starts in the next five minutes " .

I said "Okay ".
After I was done with my work , it was 9pm.  I went to where Candy is and I  saw that she left.  I was about to leave myself ,  when saw a light coming from a room  .
I went to see where it was coming from and I saw it was coming from the room that was Liz's office .

I opened the door and saw Liz  , Alex , Emily and Kat .
Liz was saying "I don't know but you can go and cheek ".
They saw me and Emily said "Liam " in excitement. 
She came and hugged me and said "Hey ".
"Hi ".
"What are doing here ". Liz said
"Well I saw a light coming  from here and I thought you left your light on ".
"Well goodbye then ". Liz said

"Sure , I can go and then you guys can be locked in here until tomorrow ".
"We won't ". Liz said
"Once I leave the security guard locks up " .
"Liz we should probably go ". Emily said
"Fine ".
Then they all went with me to the elevator and I went to my car park .

Once Emily saw that I wasn't going the way they were going she said "Liam , where are you going ?  ".
"My car is parked this way ".
"Oh okay ".
"Bye ". I said
"Bye ".

****Elizabeth *****
Once we reached my car , Emily said "Liz , what was that all about ".
"What was what all about ?".
"You being mean to Liam ".
"He was the one who started it ".
"So t-
She was cut off by a car coming out of a garage and going on their home .
It was Liam .

We got into the car and Alex said "You know , I am actually surprised that he hired you since we lied to him and all   ".
"He didn't hire me . We were actually both shocked about working together ".
"So what's it like working with him ".

"It a nightmare . He keeps being mean to me just because of what I did to him . I get it , he is still mad at me but he's  so mean ".

"Well apologize to him ". Emily said
"Yeah , he probably is still hurting by what we did to him mainly you cause he sure isn't mad at you ". Kat said pointing at Emily .
"What's that suppose to mean ".
"What do you mean ?".
" You know what I mean.  Its clearly obvious that you like him and that your wishing he would  get over his break up with Liz and move on with you ".

"No that's not true ".
They both started to agrue and one couldn't hear the other. 
"Stop fighting " . I said
They both stopped and the rest of the drive home was in silence .
