Back Again

Why ?

***Liam***
Once I got home , my mother gave me a good lecture on why I shouldn't have done what I did .
Once I got the message , I went to my dad and  asked him "How did you do it ? ".
"How did I do what ?".
"You and mom ".

"Where is  this going ?".
I said nothing and my dad said "Do you like Candy ? ".
"Dad ".
"Someone's got a lover ". My dad teased
"Not so loud ".
"I heard someone got a lover ". My aunt Sophie said . And then my aunts and uncles my both mothers and my grandparents .

"Liam does ". My dad
"Aww ". Xavier said .
"Yeah  , just tell the world that I in love with Candy " . I said getting up and leaving the kitchen .
I now realized what I just said and went back in and said "No I do not ".
And then I left again .

I walked out and saw Candy .
"Hey ".
"Hey ".
"What are doing here ".
"I came to give you your work load ".
"Okay ".
Then she gave it and went to the door .
I said "Candy , um are still going to be here ".
"Uhh , I don't know ".

"Okay ".
"Bye ". She said
"Bye ". And then she walked out the door.
I picked up my work load and was about to turn around when a voice spoke. 
"I don't understand why it has to be awkward with the two of you ".

"Dad don't scare me like that ".
"Sorry ". I dropped my work load and went to him .
"I know what you wanted to ask me.  Your mother explained it ".
"Ugh ".
"Don't do that . Now I have to go solve two problems ".

"You mean one ".
"Nope , I mean two . Your mother got mad at me cause she knew that she  didn't really work at the company all the time ".
"What happened ".
"Some people found out about our relationship and I pretended that she wasn't really working for me ".

"Wow , dad way to go . That still doesnt help me . You just made it worse ".
"Look , if you like Candy then fire her and fix your relationship with her ".
"Dad , I can't do that ".
"Well that is only advice I can give you ".

"Okay ".
And then I went to my secret place and then did the work .
When I was done with it , someone called me on my phone .
It was my mother .
"Come in the living room ".
She then hung up the phone and I went downstairs. 

I saw Candy .
"Mom , you needed me " .
"No , Candy actually needs you ".
"Okay ". I went to where Candy was standing and my mother left .
"Hey ".
"Hey ". I saw she was crying .
"What's wrong ?".

She wiped away her tears and said "When the part of us getting together and you being my boss came up , I didn't want to tell you ".
"Tell me what ?".
"I can't ".
"Why ?".
"Because , I quit ".

"You can't quit , if it's about us ".
"Liam , it isn't that . It was going to happen anyway ".
"Candy ".
"My mother is really sick and I have to be by her side ".
"Candy ".
"I don't know how long it would  take so I am quitting ".

"Why didn't you tell me !".
"Liam , I t-tried but I couldn't ". She said with many tears rolling down her cheeks .
"Candy ".
"I am so sorry Liam ". She said and then she kissed me .
I kissed her back and then she left. 

Why does this have to happen with me . Why does my life always consider for me to lose an important person in my life. 
I didn't know what to do now .
The person who made my life feel completed is gone .

I didn't come out of my secret place for days. 
My mother would sneak in my secret place and bring me food .
She would also take my dirty clothes and wash them and bring them back for me.

After weeks , I finally decided to come outside .
No one was home at the time so I went to my thinking place . Once I got there , I thought about things . Once I got back , my mother saw me said "Do you want to eat dinner with us ".
I just noded and saw that Alex , Liz , Emily and Kat were still there. 

We ate in silence and then I went up to my room and slept off .
