Training with Shanks

Five days passed by

Foosha village is too quiet. Usually Luffy always played and ran around with Naruto. Makino worried about them even when Ben said that those two are fine and playing at the ship .

After Shanks found them,he brought Luffy and Naruto to his ship. Doc T (OC for Redhair pirate doctor (゜-゜) I know his name is simple ) patched them up and took care of them.

He scolded Shanks to let those two rest alone but Shanks won't budge from his chair that set between Luffy's and Naruto's bed.

Ben told Doc T to just let it go because there is no way captain gonna move from that chair until those two woke up.Doc T just sighed and gave up. They leave their captain alone with Luffy and Naruto.

Shanks just stared at those two with concern. 'What happened to you guys?'

Luffy already wake up from his coma but Naruto has not.
The doctor said it might take two  more weeks for Naruto to heal completely.

Shanks still won't budge because Naruto did not woke up yet but his face didn't show any concerns anymore.

They quite surprised when Naruto wound healed and the poison is gone.
'The kid sure has amazing healing ability' laughed Shanks in his mind.

Shanks had asked what happened to them at Luffy but he did not remember much.

"I don't remember beside took a nap!"said Luffy with confidence.

"there's nothing to be proud of!" sweat dropped Shanks. He glad that Luffy wake up.

   That night, Shanks forced to stay up late because Luffy did not want to sleep and always hungry.
And somehow Luffy manage to fall asleep while eating.

'seriously,this kid...'then Shanks glanced at Naruto. Naruto is very mature for her age though she can be really silly sometimes especially when it has something to do with ramen.

She is very strong,he had seen her fought a wild bear and win unscathed. Her way of thinking is beyond her age. She is strong, smart and mature enough to take care of herself but seeing her laying on the bed like this make him realised that she still a little girl.

He had decided that when Luffy and Naruto completely healed,he going to teach them bit about self defense. He did not want to die from worrying after all.

Shanks get up to catch a drink in the kitchen but when he get back, Naruto is nowhere to be found in her bed.

Suddenly he heard a groans came from under bed. When he peeked at the source of the sound he saw Naruto laying facefloor...'ouch' Shanks rushed to her side.
"Naruto! Can you hear me?"
"S-shanks..?"
"I'm here. How the hell you get down here?"

Naruto tried to get up but Shanks held her in bridal style so she won't get hurt.
"Do not move Naruto,you still in no condition to move too much."
"Che,are you my nurse Shanks-chan?" smirked Naruto.

Shanks only rolled his eyes and said" you should rest for tonight we will talk tomorrow."

"yeah yeah" waved Naruto as she closed her eyes.
Shanks smiled as he look out the window.

"Shanks?"
"yes?"
"Arigatou"
"meh no need to thanks,all you has to do is heal completely."
"I see...you really kind,Shanks! Goodnight."
"...goodnight"Shanks patted her head slowly.

Shanks sighed and closed his eyes 'you are the one who kind, Naruto...you act cold towards strangers yet will not hesitate to help them not even if they hate you. I'll protect you guys while I can..Luffy,Naruto.'
