King Arthur and Queen Gwen and Merlin were walking around Camelot's market to get some flowers and cloth.
They were walking for sometime just wandering and talking when they heard a cry.
The three of them ran over to the yelp to see that it came from a small child. A little girl. Who was crying into her hands.
Both Arthur and Gwen looked nervous. Like they didn't know what to say. Merlin rolled his eyes and ran up to the child.
"Hello there." He said quietly as if he'd startle the girl. She looked up slowly.
"My name is Merlin. What's yours?" She looked at him for a second. She wiped her eyes.
"Emma." She said so quiet he could barely hear her.
"Well what is a beautiful little girl like yourself crying for?" He wiped away a tear.
"My mommy. I don't know where she is and I... I..." She started crying again. Merlin grabbed onto her and tried to calm her down.
"Well what does you mommy look like?" The girl told him that she had blue eyes and blonde hair. Much unlike the girl who had brown eyes and black hair.
"Okay Emma. Do you know where you live?" She nodded. She pulled stood up and took his hand. He looked back at the royals behind him. They nodded.
She pulled him to a small little hut. The royal couple stayed outside as they entered. The entered to see a woman who matches the description from Emma, crying to her husband.
"I lost her! I was walking and I turned around and she was gone!" The woman cried.
"Mommy!" Emma cried.
"Emma!" Th mother cried and run up to her and hugged her.
"Me and mr.Merlin found you!" She looked confused then saw Merlin behind them. The mother stood up.
"Hello I'm Merlin I saw your dau-" he was cut off by a hug.
"Thank you so much." He hugged her back.
"No problem." He then left the hut to see Arthur and Gwen.
"Lets go guys."
"Wow." Was all Arthur said.
"What?" Merlin said eyebrows raised.
"Your really good with children."
