Draco's POV

It was a wondrous sight. A sliver otter leaping gracefully toward me. It stopped about a metre in front of me. I sat still and silently waited. Then it spoke, her melodic voice filling the air.

"I love you. I'm fine and we will find a way out of this", it then proceeded to convey a conversation between her and Lucius. The noise of his voice had venom rise in my chest but when I listened further and heard his plans! Finally a location and direct evidence!

When the otter had finished it faded away with the wind. I felt sadness take me again. Plans and ideas over took my mind as to how I could use this information to save my family. I took a deep breath and went into the tent tell Harry and Ron the news. Ron was snoring and I didn't think Harry was really sleeping

"Hey Harry, Ron wake up", I said in a moderate tone.

"What!?" Ron said aggravated while sitting up. Harry just sat up and put his glasses on obviously her wasn't able to sleep.

I told them what had happened, how the otter had come to me and relayed the conversation that Lucius and Hermione earlier. Harry nodded, his mind looking as it too was going into overdrive and Ron just got over excited about the information.

I began packing our things up and the others quickly got dressed. I kept milling over in my thoughts how we were going to approach this. It would be one of our more dangerous missions if I did have any sort of plan. I also kept repeating the information the spell contained wondering if it would come to that. I hope to Merlin it would never come to that.

"Hey Harry did you know the spell before or after you suggested the plan of using one of the twins as bait?", He looked up at me and frowned.

"You make me sound inconsiderate! But I did read it before hand, why?"

"I think we should do it.", he looked a bit taken back but quickly composed himself and finished putting the tent away.

"Okay, we'll do it. Only if your sure?" He raised an eyebrow obviously remembering my earlier outright hatred for the plan.

"I think it's the safest option as long as everything goes to plan".

"You do know a lot more could and might have to happen for it to work?" his expression pained as he thought of his mother's sacrifice. I had read the warning on the cover.

Once we had finished gathering our things we left the forest and headed straight to the Burrow to tell Ginny what had happened. When we arrived, we entered the kitchen to find Molly filling a bucket with water and looking very flustered. She looking quiet frankly panicked rather than just flustered.

"Oh thank goodness Harry! I tell you you've some timing! Ginny has just gone into labour!" she exalted. Harry dropped everything and sprinted up the stairs, calling Ginny's name as he went, followed closely by the heaving Mrs. Weasley. Ron looked pale and moved to sit down also dropping his things. I chuckled, even though this situation brought back again that innate fear I'd had for Hermione's safety. What if she went into labour? What on Earth would I do then?

One by one the Weasley's began to arrive. Fleur and George's wife Tabitha went straight up to the room to lend a hand. Percy was last to arrive. His children were obviously bathed and groomed before the visit. I snorted and little and so did Ron after I pointed it out.

I wrote a letter to Kingsley detailing to him what went on in the forest tonight.

A few hours later I was the only one still fully awake. I had just sent my long letter to Kingsley with the information and my plan. I just hoped he would obey my request not to tell anyone about my plan. I don't think anyone but Hermione would agree. Harry wasn't going to be able to help anymore, and I wouldn't expect him to either. I knew how much his new family meant to him now.
