Time went by like always. However, it felt as if everyone is ignoring me, but I'm not doing much to bring up a conversation. All I do is stay in my own area and I only venture out for food. It's killing me inside to not talk to Dean, but he doesn't want to talk to me.

I almost give in every time I hear them talk of escape and tell him I will help. Then I remember the risk of his plan and I manage to survive another lonely passage of time. Just recently a newcomer had been brought down. I heard them name her Rin, but they didn't ask her much about herself.

Once I set down to sleep I stay awake as they began to talk more avidly among themselves. I listen as they get some information out of Rin and then I hear their plan.

It took everything in me not to laugh in joy as I hear the entirety of their plan. I make my own plan to stop any of them from leaving.

After what felt like so long they begin their plan as I hear a loud banging. I stay on the floor and cover my exposed ear. The noise continued until I hear a door slam open and two pairs of feet scramble down the creaky stairs.

I turn to see just a faint light come from the door upstairs that is left just slightly ajar. It made me wonder how our caretakers could even see in this darkness.

"What the hell are you doing?!" my eyes focus on our female guardian as she looks over at Tay who had been banging a tool on the concrete floor wall. Tay doesn't answer, but instead moves to a much darker part of the room.

"You little shit, come back here." My eyes land on the male as he squints in the direction that Tay went in. Maybe they couldn't see as well as I thought.

Silence responded to his rage. I sat up and slowly slid up the wall until I am standing. My eyes focus on the shadowy figures I see hidden around the room. My eyes stay focused on the most familiar of all figures as it steps out behind the two adults.

"We want to get out."

Both turn in surprise as Dean stands tall before them. For the first time I am able to make out some details about him as the dim lighting allows me to see him. It burns my eyes a bit, but it is worth being able to see him. His dark hair hangs below his shoulder as his eyes seem dark with emotion.

I have no time to look at him properly as I hear a women's screams. I focus back on the couple and notice that the others had begun to attack her. Her partner as shocked as the women turns back to Dean. I don't need to see the look on his face as all I can sense is anger.

He charges Dean who begins to dodge the man's hands. I watch as the chaos unfolds before me as both sides land hits. I'm not sure who is winning at this point, but I had to stop them from destroying themselves.

My eyes land on Dean's figure which is moving much slower than before as it takes him longer to land a killing blow on the man. I move just as I see a blow coming down onto Dean's bent form. The punch lands on my shoulder blade which causes me to fall forward on Dean.

Dean looks at me and I can sense the worry coming off of him. "Aero, what are you doing? Don't get in the way!" I give him a smile I know he can't see and turn to the man who looks at me in surprise.

"Stop. They don't know what they're doing." My whispered words come out loud in the quiet room.

"I think they know exactly what they are doing." He sneers at me which causes me to flinch back a little. I recover though as I am determined to save them.

"Please let them go. I'm sure they have learned their lesson by now."

The man grabs me by the front of my shirt as he looks at me and then at Dean who stands still behind me. He then smiles as he drops me on the floor and turns to his partner.
