As I get in from school my step mums just coming down the stairs.
"Remember what I said we have guests coming over so I want this house spotless and you cook..... oh and one last thing dress nice"
"Yes mum" I reply
Ever since they adopted me they've wanted me to call them mum and dad. I don't see much of my step dad he's always drunk or in bed.
I go into the kitchen and clean up then I start cooking dinner and as it's cooking I clean up the rest of the house.
I go check the dinner which is a lasagna (I don't know how to spell it but oh well) and turned it of I then go up stairs and get ready by having a shower then putting some make up on. I go through my wardrobe and pick a nice dress Down below

Then there was a knock at the door. Great they must be the guests to be honest I don't even know why they are.
"Brat get the door" my step mum shouted
I go down stairs and open the door.
"Hi you must be Autumn Kate's step daughter"
"Yeah that's me" I reply
"I'm Mrs Minter Kate's work colleague, these are my two sons Nick and Simon"
