Give this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts,as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil"the pastors rang threw the church as my mother sat on one side of me and my father sat on the other in the pews. My long ginger hair in a braid over my shoulder.

"Amen"everyone says and we all stand up and I smoothen out my dress. "now anna Marie go to the pastor and let him cleanse you for using the lords name in vain"my mother says and my father rolling his eyes at her. Yes my father is very religious like my mother but he thinks that it's dumb for me to get cleansed for saying god. "Yes mother"I say softly.

I walk over to the pastor and look up at him being only 5'0. "What is it that you need Anna Marie?"he asks. "I have used the lords name in vain,mother wants me to be cleansed"I say looking down ashamed. "Kneel child of the lord"he says. I do so and he dips his fingers into the holy water making a cross on my forehead.

"Dear Heavenly Father please forgive this child for using the lords name in vein and keep this girl safe from evil amen"he says and I stand up making my way back to my parents. "Cmon Anna we have dinner with the Fuentes"my mother says making mentally roll my eyes and I nod. "Yes mother"
