Hiyori's pov 

The sudden feeling of being deeply in love just brought me joy yet fear. Each day i spent with Yato was like a new life. I fell in love with him more and more each day if that was possible.But somehow love took me over.

Whenever Yato would leave me alone my heart felt alone. I began to panic... Why?

I became somewhat attached and i was afraid i would be too clingy. So i tried my best distancing from Yato but it hurt. Like it literally hurt a sharp pain went through my heart. I suddenly had enough and decided i would ask Kofuku-sama about it. I walked to her shrine and entered as i see her sitting around eating some grapes. 

" Hiyoriiiiiinnnnnn~~"  She called as she waved her small hand with her sleeve hanging down since it was so loose. I sat down and i looked at my fingers as i was nervous. 

" Kofuku-san, can i ask you something ?" She sensed the seriousness and she sat there still and nodded for me to proceed. I sat up straight and looked her in the eye 

" When Yato leaves me alone why do i get such a sharp pain feeling in my heart. Whenever he's far away i get such a bad pain, but the thing is sometimes i don't and when i do he comes back from  the mission all scratched up but a relief feeling that he's alive comes to me." 

Kofuku smiled and spoke ," Ne Ne Hiyorin~ That means you both are fated! AHhhhhhhhh you are fated to be with YATOOOO." 

I blushed as i thought about it. "What do you mean ?"

" You are fated to be with him forever. You are the reincarnation of Sakura . You are Yato's lover."

I was shocked to find this out. Kofoku grabbed my hand and ," You're Yato's love and regalia, you are his strength. Yato ,Yukine and you " 

I felt my cheeks turn hot. I am destined to be with Yato. But will my fate end up like Sakura? Killed and left once again ? My heart began to hurt as i thought about it. 

" Hiyori what are you doing here ?" I turned around to see Yato and Yukine standing there with surprised faces. 

"UM... I'm here to visit Kofoku because i wanted to spend time with her. " I found myself over explaining things since i was a very bad liar. 

" Yato.....Hiyori, Yukine and I will leave you two alone ." Kofoku grabbed Yukine's wrist and went to the room next door where Daikoku was with a worried expression. Yato sat across from me with a look of........ guilt ? Confusion? He seemed to be struggling with himself.

" Yato, I must tell you this since we don't keep secrets from each other. I am the Reincarnation of Sakura. Now that i think about it... I feel that as if you only love me because part if her is me, but I'm not her. I'm Iki Hiyori .'" I said looking down at my fingers twiddling at the hem of my clothes.

I finally got the courage to lift my head and i see Yato smiling at me warmly," Hiyori.." he said as he grabbed my chin with his finger and laid his head upon my forehead and looked into my eyes. My violet eyes meeting his beautiful blue eyes. They remind me of the sky.

 " Hiyori, it does not matter if you're her reincarnation. You may have similar appearances at times ,but you're nothing like her. You are more better. More beautiful, more caring, more smart and the most lovable. I love HIYORI IKI not Sakura. You are you and that is what i love, who i love, it's all you."

I couldn't help ,but blush at his kind words. They made my heart flutter and made me feel warmth and comfort. Yes , we are fated ,yes we have ups and downs ,but he will always be my one and only Yato. 

He keeps me sane with all that has been going on. He makes me happy.

2 days later..... 

After i spoke with Yato we became closer than ever. Yato has been so kind to me. I got up to get ready to leave for school. i got my uniform on and started to make my way to the door. When I get down stairs I suddenly got a sharp pain in my chest . I crouched down to the floor and started weeping. My father ran downstairs to see me laying within the floor. I started hyperventilating as i could not breath much. 

My father gasped as he saw that my chest was glowing. Deep down i knew, Yato was in trouble.....
