You Don't Get it - Degrassi Zig

Chapter 10

Cassidy's POV

It been about two weeks since the pool party and Miles won the election at school and then got disqualified because Tristan said Miles was cheating but whatever not my problem. I'm current in class with Miles and Tristan yay.

"Roses are red, violets are blue, This assignment sucks and Tristan also suck" Miles said standing if front of the class.

"You know if you wanted to be class president so bad you just shouldn't have cheated" Tristan said

"Just drop it already" Miles said getting his last words before he got cut off.

"Alright alright everyone just chill, ah yeah your gonna redo that and I want it done tomorrow" Mr. Mitchell said.

"What. Why" Miles complained like him assignment was really good.

"Because I asked you to write about something you care about not to pick fights with your classmates" Mr. Mitchell said

The bell rung and everyone gathered there things together as did I.

"Hey lets get to the cafe before all the good slices are gone" Winston said to miles.

"How about not fighting with Tristan" I said walking up to them.

"Floating around in the pool with a glass of single malt is more what I had in mind you in" Miles asked ignoring what I said

"I'm not skipping its the second week of school" Winston said.

"Whatever your loss" Miles said and Winston walked away.

"What about you" Miles said.

"Really" asked walking away. I would skip but I have class with zig.

"Hey babe" I said sitting next to zig.

"Hey beautiful" he said. As class went on me and zig talk and did some work.

"What will your life be like in 15 years, that's what I want you to show me in your first assignment. In groups of two your gonna use the animation skills you've been learning to create a short video about what you think your future looks like pair up" Ms. Grell said

I already know who i'm working with.

"You wanna work together" zig asked

"Is that even a question" I said

"I'll get the handout"zig said getting up.

"I think they'll have a seizure if there more then 5 feet from each other" I heard grace say. I turned around and smiled at her and zoe.

Zig came back and we looked through the choices together.

Pretty much every chance I got to see zig we just hung out it was a good day.

Zig walked me home after school. "Thanks for walking me home babe" I said kissing him. I pulled away but he kissed me again.

"I really have to go Miles said we're suppose to eat together I really wanna see how this turns out" I said

"Fine" he said and kissed me one last time.

"Bye babe go home safe okay, text when you get home" I said and he smiled

"You worry to much but I'll text when I get home" he said walking backwards so he was facing me.

I walked into the house "hello" I questioned. I got no answer so I went to the back and saw everyone at the table.

"Hi honey" mom said and everyone look up at me.

"Hi?" I asked/said. I sat down next to Frankie and Miles. And I saw Frankie did something her hair.

We were all sitting in silence.

"Who wants breasts its very juicy" mom asked

"I'm gonna eat in my room" Miles said as he got up.

"Me to" Frankie said

"Sit down. Both of you" mom looking up at them as I looked at the food sitting in front of me.

"We are gonna have a nice meal together and we're gonna talk about are day" mom said and they both sat back down.

And it became silent again I looked over at Miles as he put his head in his arms.

"So. What did everyone do at school" mom asked

Silence

"I don't know why your in such sour moods, I had a great day I tried a new zumba class I feel very-" mom got cut off by Miles.

"Why don't we talk about Frankie's mid life crisis hair" miles said

"Why don't you shut it" Frankie quickly fired back getting up and walking away.

"So much for a nice family dinner" mom said and her phone went off and she picked it up.

"Hey what's your problem you've been weird lately" hunter asked Miles.

"Well this morning I-" Miles got cut off by mom.

"That was the school they want us to come and talk to principle Simpson tomorrow" mom said.

And me and hunter looked at miles.

"What did you do now idiot" I said.

"For once I have no idea" he said

"Well apparently you threatened another student" mom said.

"What" Miles asked

"Well I'm done. I know nothing about this so I am going to check on Frankie" I said getting up and heading to Frankie's room.
