requested: can you do one where she's sick and you take care of her then she finds out she's pregnant (with the joker). you then see them five years later and they're all happy.

you rubbed harley's back and held her hair as she continued to throw up in the toilet. when she was finished, she leaned against the wall to the side of her with her held tilted up as she rubbed her face. you flushed the toilet for her and kneeled in front of her, placing your hands on her shoulders.

"are you okay babe? you've been throwing up a lot lately" you asked her, concern evident in your voice.

she shrugged her shoulders, giving you a sad look as she interlocked her hands with yours.

"i'm not sure. i feel fine! no headache, stomach pains or cold, but i always feel the urge to be sick" she told you.

you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. you hadn't been dating harley for long, only two months so you hadn't experienced an ill harley yet. you couldn't understand why she felt okay apart from the sickness. you pulled her up gently, before leading her to the bedroom and you both plopped onto the double bed the two of you shared.  you laid her head down on your lap as you played with her colourful hair. she hummed in content as your fingers massaged her scalp whilst you continued thinking about what her illness may be.

you jolted up, making harley jump slightly as your eyes widened a little in realisation. harley lifted herself up and looked at you, her face coated with a look of confusion and worry. you glanced at her, and then down at her stomach before you looked back at her face again.

"you're pregnant" you stated, like it was a casual thing to say to a friend.

she looked at you like you were crazy, which you would've laughed at if the scenario was different. after a minute or two, her expression changed to a look of shock and then fear.

"shit. i might be, me and joker did have sex a week before we broke up. i don't think he used a condom either, he might've done. we were drunk" she explained, making you nod slowly.

it was a silent for a while, you both sat there trying to let it sink in, which didn't really work for you. you were pulled from your thoughts when you felt a slight tug on one of your hands which reminded you of a little child tugging on its mothers hand. you looked at harley who had a scared look on her face and glossy eyes.

"you're not going to leave me are you?" she asked you in a small voice.

"no of course not! i love you harley i would never leave you" you reassured her whilst you pulled her into a tight hug.

she instantly hugged you back and you both stayed there, hugging eachother for a long time before you both decided to find out for sure if she was pregnant or not.

* 5 years later *

you placed the food down on the table in front of the little pigtailed girl also known as lydia. she had her mom's gorgeous blonde hair with the joker's shocking blue eyes which made her look adorable. harley told the joker about his daughter as you both agreed he did have a right to know, he wasn't very involved at first but towards the end of the pregnancy he admitted he wanted to be apart of the baby's life. he and harley settled on lydia sleeping at his house every weekend and spending every other holiday with him.

"thank you y/n" lydia smiled, picking up her fork ready to eat.

"you're welcome sweetie" you replied, going back into the kitchen to get yours and harley's food.

you placed the plates down before you sat down at the table next to harley who was making sure lydia's sleeves weren't getting in her food.

"mommy please can we have ice cream after?" lydia asked

"only if you eat all of your food up doll" harley replied, "you know the rules"

"but mommy! daddy would let me have ice cream if i didn't eat it all"

"i'm not your dad"

"i'll do you a deal, if you eat up all your food you can have some ice cream and some candy" you said to lydia who had a small pout on her face.

"yes! thank you, thank you" she squealed, her face lighting up making your heart swell.

you will admit, when you found out harley was pregnant you were scared but now, you were so glad she was and you wouldn't change it for the world.
