I can't find him. I've waited at the school gates all morning and he hasn't arrived. After our little incident yesterday, he ran away and I guess either went home or avoided me. Classy, Ryan, really great guy he is. First period consisted of art, so hopefuoly I would see him there.

Mr Pistakia called his name out on the roll and recieved no reply. The rest of the day went slowly, I was looking through every door in the hopes he would just appear all of a sudden, as if he'd been here all day. Did I really miss him? You know how when you find out that someone likes you, you slowly begin to fall for them too? Only to find that by the time you've worked out how you feel about the situation it's too late. Jeez, it only took me 26 hours to work it out and it was still to long!

Ok, maybe he's sick. Maybe he isnt avoiding me. I always over dramatise things in my head, it really isn't this bad.

"Hey Beth." I hear a quiet voice say behind me, as it taps me on the shoulder.

"Oh. Hi Ryan," I reply, " I haven't seen you all day. I thought..."

"That I was avoiding you? No, I'm not that pathetic. I had to go to the doctors."

Well. I guess thats a relief. Kind of. Damn it. Now I have to think of something to say.

"Look, I've got to sign in. Can I meet you in the place after school?" Ryan asks, sounding a bit annoyed. He was probably just stressed, no big deal.

"Ok, I'll see you then."

Oh god, what would happen this time? Would he try to kiss me again? Or worse, would i try to kiss him?

The end of the day couldn't have come any slower. I made my way down the stairs and into the dark, smelly room. I sat on the couch and waited for Ryan. 10 minutes later he arrives, bearing cookies.

"I just made them in food tech." he says, offering me some. Clearly, I don't resist. Free food, how could I pass that up?

"Ok, we really need to talk aboHe starts trailing off.

"I know. Can you please answer some questions for me? Just say either yes or no."

Ryan nods, indicating for me to start.

"Alright. Number one; was the kiss planned?" Ryan shakes his head with a completely blunt expression on his face.

"Number 2; do you regret it?"

"It depen-"

"Yes or no, Ryan."

He shakes his head, looking innocent, much like a child who has just been accused of stealing another childs piece of lego. I laugh a little, blushing at the same time.

"Do you love me?"

Ryan blushes, staying quiet for a bit. This is the quietest and least agressive i have ever seen him. He slowly nods, not in a way that is doubtful, only shy.

"Well, are you going to do it again?"

And he does.
