Maybe the slowness of the music made me sleepy. The music was still playing but it was a different song. It was Tenerife Sea already, one of my favorite songs too. I woke up and I felt him sleeping on the side of my bed, I know he was still sitting and I felt uncomfortable for his position but I did not want to bother him also so I let him be. I wanted to know what time it was so I could eat my lunch already, I felt my stomach grumble. He was sleeping peacefully that it was impossible to disturb him. That would be embarrassing for me. Instead, I fixed my hair and just sat down my bed, I wish I could admire him sleeping. I continued singing while waiting for him to wake up but I already sang a few songs and still, he's asleep. I was itching to wake him up so I did.
"Dylan." I said as I brushed his hair.
"Hmm?" He simply said while his eyes still closed.
"Uhm. I'm hungry." I finally said.
I felt him stood up since I did not felt his hair again. He yawned. I wonder what he looks like. I wonder what he looks like after waking up. I wonder what color his eyes are.
"Uhm, Let's get you some food." He said.
"Can I eat outside? Patio?" I asked.
"Of course." He said.
So when he said that, he immediately carried me. My arm was placed around him and it felt nice.
"Ano ba ang gusto mo kainin?" He asked.
"Hmm... Tinola?" I said questionably.
Does he even cook? All I know about him is that he is the son of the mayor and he helps our workers in the flower fields.
"Sure. I can cook that!" He proudly said.
I waited for him outside and all I can smell are the flowers. After an hour, he came back.
"Here. He said and he placed the meal. I smelt the meal and it smells delicious.
"Ikaw? Hindi ka kakain?" I said as I fed myself a spoonful of rice and chicken.
"Kakain na nga. Sabay tayo." He said.
He proudly answered.
Kumpleto kami rito!" Kwento niya at halatang masaya.
I suddenly said. I really miss my mom. I wish she could live a long life with us.
"I'm sorry." He said.
"What? No, It's okay! I'm just stating that you're lucky." I reacted.
He suddenly asked.
"Yes. That would be a dream!
I said.
"I really don't care if people knew you don't see anything. Well I do, you don't get to see your family, your friends, the place... And me."
